First off, this is my first attempt at a model of this skill level and a Testors plastic model. I love how they has the instructions for this. It has actual pictures of every peice on the tree. Every page has a color chart on it for painting. The packing is amazing with the thought of protecting each piece plus cardboard is used in this progress also. I will have the rest of the review in an in progress thread at a later date. And I have pictures!
here is the body, however I won't be using it as I have a 2 door resin Charger from Time Machine Resins.
As I said I will have more in an in progress thread later on so be looking for it!!!
I was just woindering what is offered for Studebakers in resin, I know of the bullet nose Top Fuel, the funny car, and the regular bullet nose. I also know of the post sedan. Are there any others?
Its good to see the different ways to build these cars. We have seen stock, racing and salt flat racers. I would love to see Treehugger Dave build one, along with Bill finish his.
Here are a few pictures of my 2 that were given to me but Curt Raitz and Raul Perez, respectively.
OK, I forgot how much of a pain in the you know what and the eyes it is to BMF one of these 50's cars. But I got it done. This one is almost there, just need to finish the interior, engine, bumpers and headlights.

Its huggar orange and I still need to BMF the insert. I think I need to get another sheet.
I got one started, kinda.
The little helper was only there for the pictures. Notice the one eye. You wouldnt know he had one eye if you saw him though, doesnt hinder him one bit. Plus he doesnt really play with the model parts. He mostly goes after my boot bands (they hold my pants leg to my boots)
I had intentions of working on my Itialian Red Stude while on duty, but I wasnt in the mood to do the BMF on it. Luckily I took this along with me. Nice easy build. Painted and everything yesterday afternoon.
I have been seeing alot of stacks around here and I had a 1/32 Semi that came apart during the move so I cut them down and installed them.
Soon this will become a fifth wheel rig
Look at those meats!!!
I still need to BMF the insert for the grille
And here is my helper for this morning.
Sorry guys, I didnt get anything done with this guy. But I did however start and finish one. What is you may ask? Well you will just have to wait and see.... I think you guys will like it.
