    Just got mine today, a little worse for the wear though. Missing almost half the back cover and the spine was torn. Great magazine though!!!

    If you want to paint them, strip the chrome off them then paint. To strip it use Super Clean. Can be found in Wal-Mart in the automotive section. 5 Gallon jug. Also I have heard that Easy Off Oven Cleaner works good too. The yellow can I believe.

    David, my friend, post all you want. We appreciate all types of builds here. And just make it easier onb the older guys like Harry and Raul and George try using photobucket. If you aren't familar with it here is a tutorial on how to use it. I hope this helps. Also I was wondering if you had the 1/16 Marine fc.

    Got most of it painted, hopefully will be able to clean up the mess on the top peice. This is the mess I was talking about. This thing is long!!! I may have to place another order to Testors for some more Huggar Orange...

    Well guys, I spent most of my time on duty working on models. Yay. Started with this Sanded the vinyl top off (what a pain!!!!) Can you guess what its going to be? More to come soon hopefully.

    I love these little cars, my sister sparked my interest in them when her first 2 cars were beetles and now My father-in-law has a back yard full of them. I am just waiting on when he will let get at the vendetta bug that he has Amazing though, I have never built a beetle. I dont even have a kit of one.

    Marcos, I recently bought a new laptop. An HP Pavillion. Not sure of the model number though. I got it on sale at Staples for $599. It came with 4gigs of ram. And its a studio laptop meaning it has the full keyboard. I will look later to see what model it is.
