  1. OH MAN, OH MAN, OH MAN totally awesome!!!!!! That is the only stude that I have not built.
  2. I believe I got the truck and trailor from Randy (randxo), but I am entirely not sure. Believe it or not you are not the first person to ask that. It was on the table in a previous build and someone asked that.
  3. Not really into that, but thatnks for the suggestion. and as for paint, I dont have that much paint. Kit didnt come with mirrors, I got it second hand. The tail lights are there I just need to detail them a little more and there is no trim on it. Yeah I kinda like the bonnoville discs myself.
  4. OK I am calling the truck DONE Look at those MEATS!!!! Ok well its not really done, I need to attach the reciever and ball for the trailer on the truck. But anyway, I need some help on the wheels for the trailer. The ones that came with it? The stock Avanti wheeles? They have the things that go in the center. Or, the salt flat rims that came with the Avanti?
  5. I found some wheels for the front, I got them from the Avanti thats on my workbench. as well as the tires. I will have pictures of it as soon as my camera recharges. Later,
  6. Those rims came from the 1953 Studebaker Starliner, Double Whammy.
  7. I've started this trailer to haul the 63 Avanti salt flat car from Raul. Its one of the clear display trailers, never really liked the clear part so I left it off. Its painted Italian Red from Model Masters Laquer. The front cabinet doors were giving me hell so I just glued them shut. The truck I am using, at least until I get some more Italian Red, is this Snaptite Chevy C-3500 Street Machine, it is painted GTX Blue. I need to find some front tires and a set of rims for it first. Oh and if anyone has any of these kits that are just collecting dust, send me a PM and I will offer a trade for it. Thanks for looking.
  8. Make sure you burnish it REALLY good then.
  9. you do realize that if you clear over foil, it MIGHT turn yellow over time.
  10. Now that is just inovating! Good job!!!!

  12. I got my ideas (havent done it yet) from this thread that Milt started.
  13. I am just wondering what happened to this guy and car?
  14. Is it real or a model?
  15. We cleaned up our living room and kitchen and all the extra ###### went in the Garage. Its worse now because Housing had to come in a do some maintenance for the dryer vent.
  16. Awesome Build as always, Raul. Nice detail.
  17. This use to be my work area, But now it looks like this,
  18. That is pretty neat. I will have to try that.
  19. And hey if I mess up, I got 2 more kits with the same stuff, so I got spares Well Off th my Armory for the morning, and yes its 3:15 in the morning.
  20. ok I got a little work done with the suspension on this thing. I put the stock suspension on and saw that the wheels would stick out a little too much for my taste, so I decided to use the suspension from the same kit the wheels and tires came from, 66 Chevelle Wagon, I also might be using the engine from the kit as well because as most of you know the newer Avantis have LS engines in them. Enough of talk here are the 2 pictures, don't worry I will have more later this week. I had to take a little off the axles for the tires to actually be under the car. And I did some trimming on the front crossmember from the chevelle kit. I know its not perfect, but I am just seeing what I can do. Thanks for looking.
  21. As always Ron you have hit a home run with this, good job.
  22. Don't worry, if there is a model car show that is within a reasonable drive and there is a racing catagory, it will be entered.
  23. I have a larger scale Avanti that I cant get off the base to take pictures of. I will try to get some pics of it.
  24. Sorry for the confusion guys. Nice job you guys on all your builds, I desparately need to put the finishing touches on mine.
