    Thanks …. I just like to build stuff in a different way than other people. The hood is only thing not happy with I wanted stock hood but oh well I guess

    I mean the technology was there in 1975 so figure why not . Thanks for your input too I went ahead and continued the build while waiting for an answer if it DQs the model I’ll take the hit and build something else .

    Started this yesterday but today was a rain day so spent some time on her today. Opened the driver door and trunk swapped a 426 hemi/4speed combo. Smoothed firewall swap 9 inch swap type 2 nascar brakes and built a extended fuel tank setup so think got a good bit done hope y’all like her color combo TBD ( goin between black red interior or the normal red/white combo that’s popular with these cars but teal/white has been a thought ) opinions ?

    Welp she is basically finished I did forget to get exhaust pics I’ll post those tomorrow.., headers fit exhaust built and fit some more details and some mild chassis grime weathering and put her In the case I’m building for her hope y’all like her thanks on to the next build starting tomorrow

    got some more detailing done to the Chevelle the finish line is getting close hope y’all liking the build … did the d side cowl panel cover over the brake/clutch res a grill panel distributor and wiring p side header finally in burndown tube from breather to header lower rad scoop mess dzuz clips in a few places and some other mild details valve stems d side header exhaust and a few small details then I think it’ll be finished unless decide to build a rear spoiler (which not sure if I want one or not on this one )

    And yes I’m building this as a street stock car like nascarlo that’s why it still has “headlights” and such. Wish ide shortened the wheelbase up by 3 scale inches but was not worth it . The exhaust I’m still pondering … will it be normal stock car or something lil diff? Also wish ide done a dry sump bbc so might be doing a few changes

    Lil more work this evening really enjoying this build it’s been fun ….. think a few more days and she will be finished up while waiting for parts for the gasser builds and figuring out what I wanna build for the cannon ball run buildoff (which I would like some inspiration and/or input on what people wanna see) hope the better pics help some thanks guys

    Got a few hrs with this one this evening while waiting for some parts for the gasser builds and figuring out what I’m doin for the cannonball run build off (which I would love some inspiration on what should build lol ) pics are lil better got some lil details on her got the window clips/straps on helmet painted and hanging started some the body weathering and got the front grill area worked on …. Hope by weekend to have her finished up

    Did lil work this evening on the Chevelle …. I know it’s not exactly a nascar but it’s close lol and not bad for a parts bin build sorry for crappy pics

    Thanks yea in real life it would be bad ass I think I own a small fab shop and we do a lot canyon carver stuff and felt ide let it influence some my builds plus I really miss my ls6 70 ss so wanted to build what ide do if got another one

    Thanks it’s actually a revell peice I have a few of them but really wanted it for this one with the cross ram 2 4s and bbc just felt right

    Spent a lil time this evening building the front tube work and radiator support…. built a fire wall that fits really well as one piece to clean up the Bay Area and started the cage this evening not a lot progress but it’s goin very well thanks
