If was to be super accurate ide do split monos adjustable shock like Vikings and some caltrac the Mopar asemetrical setup makes them great setups from stock that’s how my 68 dart and 72 dart both are but again thanks for the insight -

After father had a heart attack he retired from doin scale builds and I inherited some his ole builds mostly his glue bombs from his teenage yrs. This one I’m “restoring” but I refuse to repaint the body I want that survivor 80s look as ya see in the pics I had about half the car the rest I have found in parts bin or in junk box donors ….. got the chassis done did a 9 inch swap a fresh 440 6 pack with a A833 4 speed some slapper bars and some other stuff keeping this a simple build but here are the pics of what I started with today and what I finished with. Hope have done in next few days thanks y’all hope y’all enjoy this short build. Ps I do need a 70 gtx hood from monogram if anyone has one

Welp got lil done to the restoration of the gtx ….. again trying to keep it as OG as I can and keep the 70s vibe there was a issue on the trunk where father over glued the spoiler so I just primed it as if they had a issue and just primed it in real life dropped a lil 440 6 pack and A833 trans did some slapped bars and a 9 inch swap hope y’all enjoy thanks I’ll get interior tomorrow and BMF the body some bay details nothing major and prop call it done…… do need a stock hood if anyone has one -

Hey guys ima do an unofficial cannon 1975 build….. NOT MY ENTRY … but it’ll fit but it’s a long story…. So I come from a family of auto freaks (father has three restored autos mother had till she got to old to drive a straight shift my in-laws have three modern hot rods after gave up his LO23 dart in 1991 when my wife was born and me wife and son have about 10-11 projects/hot rods ) so sentimental builds mean a lot for us. Our fathers use to be scale modelers just like us but in 2021 lost father in law to Covid and my father had a heart attack with 4 way bypass ect ect and he is unable to build the quality he use to ….. but I inherited some of my fathers glue bombs and lesser quality kid/teenage builds (1970-1983 era builds) and have decided to “restore” some of them . We are lovers of all things combustion but do honestly have a soft spot for Mopar products and this one was my fathers only surviving Mopar. 1970 gtx 440 6pack car but was a glue bomb so ima suspect it’s a 1970-1975 build as he stated when he became a teenage he started really takin building scales seriously ….. this thing is a wreck no suspension wheels tires drivetrain and in poor shape so let’s hope this goes well….. I have a part of 440 6 pack and believe to have the correct(or close nuff) for the rest ….. I will literally not be repainting the body only a clean up and clear as the OG decals I can not source and LOVE them…. Wheels prop slots or center lines and 70s era tires so I figure why not use it as a fun “cannonball” build hope y’all enjoy this build and wish me luck as to not lose the 70s build feel of it -

Thanks we have some here in the states too I mostly make my stuff takes longer and not as accurate prop but way more fun than just printing imo but still love seeing printed great parts ….. did ya realize the valve covers are not what’s on her. Mike has the more traditional Mopar stock style valve covers …. I have 1000s reference pics if ya need them and can go personally get more of the car. Mike is only 1 hr travel time from me and I see the car a lot. I’m doin mine as the pre 2019 win (the 2019 dragweek version) I was thinking the post drag week win lively but think ima do th event car I wanna do the first version when Mike put her together also ….. but gotta finish this one first then David’s f rod then I’ll do some more the other ones …. Y’all have good evening y’all ….here is mine atm -
