  1. I think they've got a long way to go before they even hit "substandard ######" much less "perfected"... On the upside, now all I get is the header. Not even the ADS show up! And I'm still trying to get in contact with "FastFloyd" from over there. He stopped returning my emails and owes me some parts (like, since February...) And once I cleared all the damned cookies their frigging site set on my computer (about 30!) now they won't let me log in at all because they claim my cookies are set to "off" (which they aren't. Even tried setting it to accept cookies from anyone, anywhere, and STILL no go)
  2. Tried that. Still getting NOTHING where the actual forum is supposed to be. The ads load just fine, though...
  3. I'm running Netscape 7.2 on a Celeron 566
  4. Even when I follow a link that goes DIRECTLY to a specific thread, all I get are the header, the "tree" (forum-subforum-title) and the ads that go down the right side of the page. Not even so much as a red "X" where the actual post is supposed to be If you can get into the forums, wanna see if you can prod "fastfloyd" into returning my emails?
  5. I know there are members here who are also on the "other site", so maybe someone can fill me in here... I cannot access the SA forums. I registered for the new forum, but now when I try to access the forum, retrieve my screen name, or contact them, the entire "body" of the page just comes up blank. Have I been banned, or is there some other issue I'm not aware of???
  6. But, what if my user name is so ingrained that I not only answer to it in public, but some of my buddies use it to keep straight who they're talking about, and I even sign emails to my elderly mother with it (not joking...I do)
  7. I've seen a 77-79 T-bird. Can't recall where, offhand, but I know its been done. I want a 74-76 T-bird or a 74 Montego that won't cost me an arm and both legs...
  8. Same here. I'm definitely going to thrash together a Mustang II "donker" strictly because of that Pinto... Put a Pinto onto a 66-77 Bronco chassis and run 40" Boggers on it (in 1/25 or 1/1)
  9. Oh, ######.... Now I'm going to have to build a donk Mustang II with those silly looking rims from the Coddington 32 Ford coupe kit.
  10. Great pics! I enjoyed standing at my back door watching the eclipse and keeping an eye on my huskies (I have three) at the same time. Even with the occasional cloud obscuring it, it was STILL pretty impressive to see.
  11. That's what the whole complaint people have had with eModelCars has been... http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9963 In all honesty, though, I'm a bit too specific in what I'm looking for (I'm almost 100% into Mustang II's, with the occasional other kit as a donor or if it piques my interest) for a smaller site to help me much.
  12. I emailed him a couple of weeks ago. He told me he's really busy for a while, so it may take him a while to get back to you.
  13. I run hoes.... As in: a Caterpillar 320 excavator, at a hazardous waste transfer station. Previously, I have worked removing furnace oil tanks, fabbed and shipped Furnace & A/C filters, making incense, beachcombed, apprenticed as a tool grinder, cut cable for industrial and residential electricians, and a bunch of other (some even odder) jobs over the years...
  14. Howdy guys! I'll post more about myself a bit later, but I recognize a name or two from some of the other forums I belong to (both in the 1/25 and 1/1 scale crowds) As my sig. line suggests, I'm a Mustang II FANATIC. Yeah, I know they're just Pinto's on 'roids, but I've loved 'em since the first one I saw back in '74. Currently building a collection and hacking together a few stock(-ish) and custom Mustang II's, and once I figure out this whole photobucket/photoshop/posting pics/digital camera "thing" I'll see what I can come up with. I've currently got (either finished or in-progress) a T-top 77 AMT, a Testors IMSA Cobra II, another 77 AMT, and a Firefighter (74 prostreet)/monster truck hybrid. More coming...
