thanks! yea i do need a sketch book, but a few of them were just drawings i did at school when i got bored, so all i had was the ole lined notebook.. lol

I had one that mom got in a lot of old models at an auction, but i sold it on ebay...

Something good is bound to happened, heck during my break so far I've become president of our model car club... haha

I just think its dumb that people would get so irrate over an april fools joke... i mean isnt the whole point to get the people to believe what youre saying to fool them?! and since it worked really well they get aggravated.. i think its those people that need to grow up and stop being immature. take a joke and stop being uptight. but what would I know, im just a juvenile.

Id go a little bit higher and put some bigger rims on it!

yea im definately giving it a break, i need to get all of this stuff out of my room any way, it takes up to much space.. this has really got me thinkin whether or not to keep all my model stuff or not. to some this may think this is just an immature reaction but it really got me thinkin just about people in general and I really dont want to hang around somewhere where some are just out to nit pick. See and those who think Im being "juevenile" (that seems to be a popular word round here) well thanks for judging me too! really makes us younger generations want to stick to the hobby.

Ok so there were 2 posts with something about haters, so how does that make me a wanna be gangster? its not like i said it like playa haters or something like that, i used it as what it is, and in this situation haters are people that dont like donks or the ones that arent happy with the joke. would the term Lovers be slang to? and Im not trying to be some one else by using words, i dont think any one group of people owns certain words. its not like in a conversation i try to think up cool gangster words to add in there, they are just the words that come out. i talk like i type for the most part and you dont see me goin hey yo homie wats up in hizzle fo sheezy my nukka.... yea, i mean me and my friends sometimes do that but its just to get a laugh cause look how stupid it is. lol and it is pretty well imposible to be an true individual since your always gonna do things that others do as well, like words, the whole world is connected now through internet, cell phones, and everything else so how can you not pick up different words from other people. its kind of like going to somebody in school thats learning french and saying your not french so you shouldnt talk like them. I mean I know exactly what your talking about with some people in iowa that are the wanna be gangters cause a few of my friends are that way and I can totally tell, you know why? because im not like them, i can see that they are tryin to be that way cause they over do it, but since im not one to judge, theyre still my friends and of course ill prolly pick up some of what their saying just because im around them and theyre only words. this is nothing against you or anybody but i really hate it when people assume things about me when they dont even know me and are so quick to judge just by a few little things. Another example, those friends i was talking about, well most of them do drugs, and i know what all they do BUT I dont do it, never even tried them once, Ive never even smoked a cigarette in my life as far as that goes, but im sure there are plenty of people out there who think i do just because im friends with them, but i guess it would be like a kick in the ass if they knew they were WRONG! lol So today I have given this some thought and this isnt a joke, Im seriously taking a break from this hobby since this forum got me back into it and just as quickly gotten me back out of it. I guess i was to quick to judge this forum since what i saw was a nice place where everyone just got along and was all about the hobby and wouldnt get concerned about petty little things. I learned right off the bat that judging things was not good when i had that issue with evilone about impala lowriders, but i soon realized that that was stupid and i should keep an open mind. I think that should apply in all situations, models, speech, and everything else, who are any of us to judge?! Only God can judge me and what ever you think you should just keep to yourself. I look up to you older guys because you make the hobby what it is and are some excellent builders, but i guess there i go again trying to be like someone else and wanting to build models as good as you all. Im not trying to make an arguement here or anything, these are my genuine feelings and what has went down with the donk thing and the gangsta talk thing, although it may not be much it got to me and hurt my feelings enough to get me to really take a break, put all the parts, pieces, kits, paints, and everything else back in their boxes and stash them all away again. I do build for myself but i still do build for all of you too, honestly if you just built for yourself how gratifying would that be? only you could see it and know what work you put into a project. you all know you want others to check out what all you have done and compliment and take notice of the time and hard work you put into it and tell them how others models gave you some inspiration and help to build your own. if you just built for yourself you wouldnt be on this forum posting pics, you wouldnt be going to show and entering your cars.... if im wrong then you are all crazy and shouldnt be building. well thats all for now...

Yep, Im trying to sound gangster. just by saying hes gettin hated on... thats "slang?" plus living in Iowa doesnt automaticly make me a "farm boy" either. See, when I first joined this forum it was great cause I saw everybody and their positive comments and thought everyone was genuinely nice and promoted being different. but then i see the issues with the donks and now what people call slang. umm so if I were just like you then everything would be ok?! Seriously most of you may be older and think you know a lot more, but step back and look what youre doing.... you make it sound like Ive been repeatedly posting these tough gangster comments, but in reality i posted this one comment that had the word "hated" in it. then thats where your over exaggurated assumptions come in. everyday im seeing more and more put downs on this forum about little things and its really sad and pathetic.

luis, youre just gettin hated on all over the place! people cant take a joke, theyre the ones that gave their sympathy voluntarily, i dont recall you ever saying hey feel sorry for me! lol I think if you seriously did want to take a break or get out of the hobby, more power to ya, after all it is JUST a hobby and I can say that and still love building just as much as the next guy.
