  1. Here is what I've done on the chassis might be a little bit unnoticeable I am now pretty much finished with the chassis minus the little white spots all over and the mounting of the engine and cab components and suspension
  2. I appreciate all the input and thanks for the insight 💯 🙂 👍🙏
  3. Hi everyone I'm trying as best as I can to scour the interwebs for the answer to a burning question, what are the hoses coming out of the valve covers connected to?
  4. Hey I'm back after a break with some small updates, I just did an entire "paint cycle" on the engine before it goes into the chassis so while that dries up I'm going to work on a few chassis pieces and then get started on the decals 🙂 🙏 hopefully all goes well with that...
  5. Thanks I forgot to mention that the engine will look like it's sitting higher on the model compared to the real truck, I have two other monster truck kits in the photos I've posted I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the destroyer II kit I plan on getting three other ninja turtle kits and I'll get started on those once they're all here👋😎👍 take care and see you on the next one
  6. Hi everyone I'm building a monster truck and I'm wondering what the hoses coming from the valve covers on both sides are connected to?
  7. Looks like the engine will sit "in scale" about maybe 3 1/2 - 4" in comparison to the real truck I used the Raminator and 97 F-150 engine to build this monster engine I'm satisfied with the outcome ❤️ 👍😎
  8. I'm trying not to make a mess of the engine so far I'm satisfied with the look of the chassis and engine together looking great 💯😎👍
  9. Where can I post some pictures of the monster truck Show I was at yesterday?
  10. Here's a small update on this monster engine finally finished the hoses and lines just a few things left and I think we'll be done 👍
  11. I want to build a realistic truck that looks like those "monster" trucks hoping I can do that in the future 😜 😁
  12. Getting further along with this and as I near closer to the end I'm plagued by more ideas do any of the forum members remember these things 🎆🎉😊
  13. And we're steadily rolling along as usual I will get some more progress done as I continue with this monster engine 👍😎
  14. It's my first crack at this, mostly using tons of reference photos and about 10% imagination it's going well so far 🙏😊😎👍
  15. As I expected it would take a long time here we are with the linkages and eventual hoses😎👍😁
  16. So here's the engine so far, it's my first crack at this I'm going to try and put linkages on this as best I can I don't know the exact color of the shiny Silver components so that's why I painted them that way at the end of the day it's all about fun 😊
  17. I've been staring at and eyeballing reference photos the entire time, the engine won't entirely mimic the original but "as close as possible" is the idea plus, I've never wired up an engine ever so a monster truck I thought would be a great idea to try that on, happy building everyone 😎 👋
  18. Thanks it's been a process steadily rolling towards the finish line 👍😎
  19. I noticed the radiator, looks great was it scratch built, I'll be doing the same thing in a little bit with my current project
  20. At the end of the day it's all about fun I've found the building of the engine very therapeutic I had to paint the sparkplug wires so while they dry I'll continue with the battery and other things maybe the shock absorbers 😁😁😁 happy building everyone 😎 👋👋👋
  21. After a few days I am back again with a few progress updates looky here 😁😎💯👍
  22. Painted just one more coat from the bottom and it's done up to that point 😁
  23. I'm taking a tiny break FINALLY!🙏😁 The chassis is ready for paint 🫟 yehoo!,
