  1. Sir, thank you for the kind words..Sometimes I think that I'm not a very good modeler so I opened myself up to this forum to hear what the community has to say..For the most part, guys have been very helpful including yourself..I have never shown any of my builds, but this community is do welcoming that y'all have made it easy for me..I have probably 100 builds on my shelf..I might put some of my earlier builds on the channel.
  2. Bro, you hit it out the park on this one..Hand painted lettering is truly being an innovated modeling skill..I am so glad I joined this forum to see the many talented modelers kits like yours.
  3. Thank you sir, The bottom of the Billy the Kid is a TS-64 Dark Mica Blue..I forgot that in my earlier post
  4. Sir, I really like the stance on your Chevelle..I actually remember this car from back in the day..You don't see a lot of models that drag cars from the 70's, 80's & 90's that's probably why I will build my models from those years..Co grats on a fine build.
  5. Good Afternoon everyone Just finished these two models a couple of days ago..1st up is the Billy the Kid car..I used the MPC 76 Dart kit for the build..Slixx Decals, Slixx's aftermarket rims, hood scoop from parts box..I scatched built the roll cage..The decals gave me fits, but over all I'm ok with it except for my slicks stick out to wide..Measured three times and STILL got it wrong, but I wasn't taking it apart. I wired the engine for my second engine ever.. Comment & enjoy The Landy Dart has STS Decals..I added to the roll bar Again the decals gave me fits..I would let them sit and they would be in a different place..I had to seal the slicks from the 55 Chevy Bel Air Gasser. Wired the engine, but forgot the coil..Will do fix it later. I'm not really happy with it because it sets higher on the right side than the left..Took it apart, roll cage isn't touching the roof..I just wanted it done.. Comment & enjoy
  6. Dragcraz Can you tell me where you purchase the decals for your build..I purchase some decals from Slixx and they are falling apart..I would appreciate Amy assistance..
  7. Sir, I just bought this kit from my local hobby store..Don't have a plan yet for it..Your model is outstanding..I love the stance and color..I'm not a big steely wheel guy, but you made it look as authentic as if this was your race car from the 1970's. You got my wheel turning in my head on what to do with my kit.
  8. My friend, your build is outstanding..I love that you dropped that 440 in it..The color combination you used is on point..Did you use the rear slicks from another kit?
  9. Sir, 1st I would like to say, that is one beautiful and detailed model..Love the color and stance. Engine detail is really nice..One question, Are those the slicks from the Nova SS kit or aftermarket?
  10. Thank you sir I love drag racing..I'm actually a crew guy on Keith Raftery Top Sportsman car in Divison 4...Pro Stock, Pro Mod & Top Sportsman are my type of classes. That's me on the right, Left to right is Roy Raftery Crew Chief, Keith Driver & Owner and me..We just sold the red Corvette and are in the process of purchasing another car..The blue car is my baby..We call him Blue..784 cubic inches with 4 stages of Nitrous..Has run as quick as 6.30@ 219mph..Yeah, I'm holding a wally from our 2017 win n Houston.
  11. My God The detail you put into this model is phenomenal sir..The rear end and drums look realistic as hell..The engine block, WOW!!!..This is what I espire my modeling skills to become..Those parts looks as if you took them to Jerry Bickel Race Cars shop to have them built..Although Jerry passed last year, his team builds some the drag racing premiere Pro Mods in the country..This is in my top 20 models of my life time..Again, job well done sir!!!
  12. What's up my fellow modeler This is my 2nd post to this site..I'm a big WJ fan..I wanted to post a couple of my builds for all to see. They're my Warren's 98 white Firebird and his 97 car..The white car has decal I purchase from ebay and the blue I used his Olds Cutlass decals..The white was finished Nov 2023 and the blue was in 2010..I took some time from the hobby and during the pandemic I started again and it gave 1me something to do..The 55 was finished in early Jan 2024, but I still need to put a radiator hose on..For some reason I forget that on all my models, but their my shelf queens..The 55 was the 1st engine I wired based on some of the excellent advise I got from so many of you..Yes it has a front bupper, but it is removable The white Firebird was my 1st attempt at scratch building a parachute rack..Thank you all for your advice and welcoming to this community.
  13. Great build Bella, I just completed building the black & white Butch Leal Pro Stock Firebirds..I didn't do any wiring because I still learning that phase of modeling..Your build was one of the 1st Pro Stock Firebirds I saw on YouTube and new I was going to do one..Outstanding build!!
  14. My friend, you did an excellent job on this build..The color k stance are all outstanding.
