  1. No, but I'll try anything right now
  2. Beans, you are so correct..This TS-26 Pure White has been Pure Hell. I also bought some brand new Tamiya tape.
  3. Beans, thank you for comments and advice...This is the 1st TIME this has ever to any of my builds..I've used lacquer, acrylics, enamels and some paints that don't exist anymore..I bought some new Tamiya tape today, so I see how it goes..I gone give the Sox & Martin build some to think what it wants to do.
  4. Thank you gentleman for your wisdom..I've done all of the thing you guys suggest..Wet sanding, changing the tape including Tamiya tape and it happened a 3rd time..I will try these methods again and hope I'm successful because painting those Sox and Martin aren't the problem it's white paint on the Quarterpanels before applying the red paint.
  5. Good Morning Forum I'm currently building a Sox & Martin GTX..I've painted this model 3 times and when I tape it, it pulls the paint off down to the primer in big patches..I use the white Tamiya Fine Surface primer and TS-26 Pure White paint..I've washed the model, applied primer in 4 coats, 4 coats of TS-26 for the 3rd time it stil is coming off in patches on the passenger side..After each primer & paint I let the model dry for 4- 5 days...When applying primer I wait 20 minutes before applying the next coat..I do the same procedure for TS-26...If anybody has had this problem and solve it, let me know what I'm doing wrong..I don't want do a 4th or 5th attempt on getting it right.
  6. My friend you did you dad proud..Outstanding job on your build..Long after your dad stops racing, he will have the memory of your build for him to look at..Job well done my friend!!!
  7. Really like this build..It plain, but has a lot of detail..The engine compartment is really nicely detail..The whole build was brought together to be one cohesive unit..Job well done my friend!!!
  8. Really outstanding build..The grafting of the front bump seem flawless..The stance and paint are on point..Job well done my friend!!!
  9. Nice builds Micky..Bro, you are the hardest working man in modeling..Question? On the Sox & Martin GTX, did you paint the stripes because if you did they came out nice.
  10. Bro, that is the essence of model car building..Just let your creative juices flow bring your thought into reality..Job well done my friend!!!
  11. Bro, I know you made your mom proud on this build..I like the engine detail and color..Definitely the highlight of your modeling career.
  12. Bro, that Roadrunner is on point..You did some pretty good detail work on it..The color, stance and engine are outstanding..I'm building the GTX Pro Street as a Sox & Martin car...Job well fine my friend.
  13. I was born in Chicago..When I was 10 years old, my big brother who was a hot rodder at the time in the late 70s took me up to Mr. Norms Grand-Spaulding Dodge on 3300 W Grand Ave..Mr Norm would show his race cars on the showroom and tons of people would come by to see them..He had a performance shop at the dealership that all the hot rodders would come to..Mr Norm would be proud of your tribute to his race cars..I love that color. Job well done in tribute to this icon in drag racing.
  14. Sir, this one of the cleanest 68 Chevelle's on the forum..This build is on point even with front wheels..Sometimes aftermarket wheels need a little help to be used..I've got the same problem right now with some wheels I bought on ebay..I'm still trying to figure it out..The stance, how the wheels fit under the Chevelle, no one would have know if you didn't tell us..The build is outstanding and a job well done my friend.
  15. I'm with you on that Sir..Reissue the 90's and early 2000s Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Mod decals of the most popular teams would be fantastic..Also issue the Pro Stock kits of 70s & 80s would be great
