  1. True that.It is funny when someone comes in here and says what did i do wrong then posts a pic of the paint. We asked what he used and he answers i with he used enamel primer and lacquers over it.I can not tell you how funny it is to me(its way past rolling on the floor laughin and close to going to the hospital for surgury and a oxygen tank).
  2. Very nice bro.
  3. Interesting idea bro show your local ford dealership you never know you might have a future design in you hands. P.S. patin that idea so if ford uses it they have to pay you.Just looking out for you .
  4. Heres the lecab i promised you guys in the tip for a lace paint job. Mock up(the lip and knock off will be painted to match the car). Piped the interior. Put some subs in and started on the hydro's. I know you guys seen these pics but they are the main part of the car. Hood and trunk combo. There is more to come as soon as i get more supplies.Stay tuned .
  5. Well im use to seeing them and well maybe taking them off LOL. Its all good bro just as long as it takes you to the next level .
  6. I was told by some buddies on another forum that there is some that are to scale.I was told to look for panty boarder or skirt edge materials.
  7. Nice detail on the engine and wow that blue looks deep.
  8. I hate to burst your bubble but i bought my uncle that one its a di cast.Still looks good bro i like how you did subtile changes to it .
  9. Ok get yourself some crazy glue and kicker. The plug wires will glue in but not with any cheap testors glue(trust me). After you attach the wires to the dizzy then slide the plug boots on the wire. When it comes to putting them on the engine well that takes a little feness.Slide the boots on to the wire,Then put the crazy glue on the wire,Insert wire into the hole,Then slide the boot to touch the engine,Then spray the kicker and bingo you wired the engine.Hope this helps bro
  10. Can someone say Chemical Reaction?Dude don't use testors or model master with HOK.HOK is a "hot" paint it will mess up the testors and modelmasters in a heart beat.
  11. i think i seen this somewhere before.Could it be the one in lowdowncreations.com?
  12. Yo SDRODDER is a buddy of mine as you all probably know.Anyways he sent me a pm asking me how to lace a build of his.So that got me thinking and i went to the garage to find a good canidate.Well i found one and it is a 90ed caddy donk kit(well ex donk) that will be turned into a LECAB(convertable).I got in the lab today and started shooting paint. Here is my version of a How To Lace a model.Anyone else that have better ways go ahead and post them in here. First:get some lace.I got mine at Wal-Mart 1/2 a yard for $1:50. I already cut mine to what i need for the project. Second:put down a good base coat. While its still kinda tacky(enough to see you finger print on the surrounding box) put the lace down. Third:spray an darker color to make it pop later in the paint job. I sprayed the darker color then took off the lace for you guys to see. Fourth:spray the final color over everything. Mine will be blue as you can see.I added flake to the darker color to give it the added personal touch. Fifth:Clear it. Remember to keep the lace touching the area you want it to appear so you will get all of the detail. If all goes right your part/parts will look like these. Also keep your eyes open for my metallic blue 90ed cadillac lecab in the workbench section real soon .

  15. That is just plain sick bro.All it needs is a couple splashes of mud on it and it would be over the top.

    BEST OF 2008

My vote went to the 59 impala. Its clean and fuggin beautiful
  18. What no more love for the impalas. Now i am going to have to tell them that they are not liked anymore. You know how hard that is.
  19. Thanks for the posts guys.I would have posted its new paint job but i didn't like it so i put it in the purple pond .It is going to be metallic green with some flake. As for the second motor i can now figure out how to make a tiny engine stand and detail it out as much as i can .
  20. Thanks guys i would have an update but when i taped off the under body to paint the frame i kinda messed up.But i could have fixed it until i removed the tape and the tape removed the paint .Waisted about 1 airbrush cup of purple and about $1.00 worth of pearl .
  21. I spent today(when i finally got up) on the hearse today. I got it foiled and got the rear wheels on. Now i need to figure out how to mask the top off without messing up my foiling work when i take the tape off.
  22. Well on my fairlane i used tape only.I stuck it to my shirt first then taped off the areas i wanted purple. The idea of sticking it to your shirt avoids the paint coming off with the tape.
  23. Went to wal-fart to day to get some stuff and seen this in the toys section. Got to scratch build the interior. They made it a hot rod with two engines.
  24. Well it was going to start off with all the little things that im not using LOL.
