well i have takin all the ideas that you guys have posted on here to heart and last night i went looking for something in the garage and heard the kits calling me over so i decided what the hay and went ove i picked up two kits and some parts outta my bins of parts one is a 66 chevelle wagon which will become a lowrider(which can be seen in the workbench section) and the other is a barris ice cream truck that will be powered by a V-12 it looks like i might be outta the danger zone for now

well tell you what thats gonna be awsome

man but if they failed then ford would go down as well and boom no more american cars which would make us depend on japan for their pieces of junk and then boom they will raise the prices and we will as a country fail so they should bail the big three out to secure jobs and the country

well hopefully the governmet bails them out soon or i wont have any parts for my caddy and 63 longbed

dang you should build the car wash that he traded the busted up one(the one you built) for the ladies car remember when se walked out to see her car and seen the busted up one and fainted that would be awsome bro but as it is it is sweet bro very nice detail i have seen the busted up one and it looks exactly like your build

ok from my personal problems i had with this type of situation the tape your using is a bit too tacky and the paints look like they were like latex if you dont do a light sanding to the body the tape will pull the paint in a heart beat also do this paint the primer let it sit for a day(it allows the paint to bond with the plastic) then on every coat you do let it sit for a day befor you mask it (allows the paint to bond with the previouse paint job) then after your all done painting pull the tape where the backing meet each other and pull it slowly do these steps and you shouldnt have any more problems heres the list 1:sand all parts to be painted with 600-2000 grit 2:paint primer and let it air out a full day 3:paint the other colors and let them sit a full day in between masking 4:pull tape with the backing toutching slowly

ok heres my ideas for this topic revell:makes real good kits top noch work and are easy to deal with for missing parts amt:makes hard to find stuff such as the 58 fury and 68 shelby gt500 but the molds suck lots of sanding to get rid of the mold lines me i personally us revell more then amt but there are a few amt kits in my stash its all personal preferance

will automotive primer and paints work on resin how about enamels and acrilics

holy cray fish (nice way to get around cussing huh) now you mean i can finally get my hands on rommel's rod better get the bench ready because im going to get a bunch of them

Ok i know there is something wrong with me now. I havent toutched a kit for 3 weeks now. I dont know if family problems are to blame but its kinda scary. Everytime i go to pick up a kit and start working on it i get to the point of opening the box and then i ask myself why am i going to work on this. I tried pushing myself but i lose the concentration its like the zone i go to dosen't exist anymore. I got the resin 59 ambulance (see who sent me the flintstones resin topic) and havent toutched it yet(except to look at it). Hopefully you guys will give me some kind of insperation to get back to building because its lookin like i might give it all up if i cant get outta of this.
