heres an idea go get a cheap kit that you could care less about strip the parts you could use for something else then use the body to test your idea on

use a silver and of gloss red under it

well i sprayed the clear over the foil and got the fins(not pictured) and rear door to match plus i have gotten some work done on it so check it out with flash without flash front back rear door top interior front

check your automotive paint supply house i think for $40.00 you can get a pint of flake and yes i mix flake in with the production paint krylon never comes with flake

it will be a mild custom dropped,metallic red with flake mixed into it,with a peril white top its brother will be stock

i do it but i kinda like doing the black first and then the silver kinda like real life car painting to me it looks better then just sprayin silver then the metallics the silver seems to pop more with black as a base coat
