What did you get for Christmas?
RodneyBad replied to Farmer Wilding's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Sorry I didn't get a chance to clean my work station. It's Disorginzed Chaos going on. I was in a rush to set up my Lil T.V. Works as good as the 27" across the room did. Now I can keep my eys focused on my desk. Also my G/F spied a Puegeot 205 Turbo Rally car in our LHS for me. And I picked up the New (oxy-moron?) reissued MPC Monte Carlo too. -
Awesome. Ya don't need a windshield, that's what goggles are for. Could use a floor board of sorts. Miss the Brakes and break a foot. Really great weathering and pallet in the bed..

What I Love is Opening the box Sub assembling it Assemble the Engine. Imanaging what it'll be Finding the Perfect set of wheels and tires. Getting Primed up and on wheels. Finding another Perfect set of wheels and tires. Finding the Just the right color Finishing. -
Even the Windows look New. Excellent job. If you get bored some more, I'll send some of my HotWheels your way for restoration.

ya Right, like some one can pic the best one out of those.. For the style of cars I like it is a tough toss up. It's like asking a parent which is there favorite child. Even the one that stands out as My favorite build is tough. They are all Great and Beautiful builds. Can you till I could never be a Judge? LOL. But I will pic One (really, only one?) IMSA Corvette GTP Awesome build and Gorgeous looking car.

Here's a good Finders Tip that works for me. It is a Hit & miss kind've thing but the finds will be worth it. If you have a Craigslist. I search Collectibles and Games+Toys I get lucky using these keywords Models Model Car Cars And you can even search using the model manufacturing names AMT Mpc Etc... Good hunting..

Looking good but something just aint right for an EvilOne build. Looks too normal still. Needs to be lifted
-
Very Cool Kit you have gotten there Bob.. I happen upon a Collectors store that had a bunch of models (mostly 80s- current) but had a few Johans. Some were more than others and I only had a few $$ to spare. That was tough. and this took half my funds. Now to find more funds and go back.
