  1. Great builds as always Tim! Loved the color on them. I may want to buy one of thoese new hoods some day
  2. Nice build you got here.. We still got som old Volvo F12 on the road here in Norway, but not that many. Like the clean build
  3. Hi FlatbedKW! This prosject looks really great! Have thought about building a Astro daycab myself, ut never got that far.... Looking forward to see more of this one. Havn't been in here for a long time now. Lot to do on the university, and mye laptop crashed last week But now I'm back.
  4. I really like this prosject a lot! Nice work on al of it, but liked the interior very much. Looks much more real when you use some details in it. Where did you get that helmet from? Have been lokking for those
  5. You have done a realy great job on this prosject. Nice to see the step by step pictures. The truck itself turned out realy nice too. Like the Italeri crane you have on it. Looks right!
  6. sorry to hear about your paint problem. I'm not any good painter either, so don't now what have happend with you cab. Othervise I realy like you prosject. Hope you can fix it!
  7. I agree. Taking photoes outside in the sunlight is realy great for the models. They looks much better then. Think I have to finish up some more prosjects soon and take some photos this summer
  8. Thanks for the comment! Think a Livestock trailer may be the best trailer for this one. Have thought about bulding a tanker for it. Got one of AMT (freuhauf??) tankers somewhere, but have thought about bulding a asfalt tanker of this one. Think they look good But dont think this is the right truck for that kind of trailer. Also thought about just having a 40 feet refeer trialer with a company logo on it. LeeWay got some orange trucks (maybe not that orange).
  9. Thanks for all great comments! It's fun to hear that you like it. It turned out ok I guess. Thinking about what kind of trailer that would look great on it. Some ideas? Maybe a Livestock trailer?
  10. Thanks Tim! Yes that's tthe fuel tanks from the kit. Think the look very good to, just paintet the "stripes" (dont know the english word on this)
  11. Thanks for the kind words... I have also thought about using the chrome backwall from The Revell 359. Just have to see what I will do. Like it as it is also... Thinking about having the Wilsom grain trailer after this one. Think it will look nice
  12. This is a prosjekt that I started on maby 3-4 years ago. Painted the cab back then, but the paint started to eat the plastic, so I but it all back in the box. Last winter I took it up from the basement and started reworking the cab. The paintjob didn't turned out as nice as I hoped, but dont think I could have gotten it any better at this time... So... Just some small pices left on it. It's at my mom and dad's place (since I live 500km away from home to go to University) Going to put on the last pices and maby rework the pipes (don't like them since their not open in the top!) this summer and take som new photos outside in the summer sun. Here are som pictures of it: Cab after a lot of plastic work. Interior "Finished" Truck:
  13. This is an prosject that I build 5 years ago... Starts to get old, but it's still one of my favoritt models (my own models, not others also ) Its the Italeri 377 kit, convertet into a daycab. Back then (this is my second model truck) I didn't know that much about aftermarket parts, so the back plate is just an old cd cover that have been cut and painted Have been thinking of buying a new daycab panel with window and replace it. But maybe later. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
  14. This realy looks like an impressive prosject Looking forward to see more of your work on this truck. Keep up the good work!
  15. Hi Studioman3! Its a realy great rig you got there. Realy love the way you have build the trailer. Would love to build something like that one day also! Think the big cintrast in color on the Pete looks good. Have that kit too, but don't know what to do with it yet. To much ideas, and to little time Guess thats familiar to some other also..... Just want to say nice work and hope to see more from you later! (I somethimes got a little problemes writing what I really meen since english is my second langue)
  16. Thanks a lot for the great ansvers... I tried to take out the bottom of the trailer today, but as I was cutting and pulling, I quickly understud that a lot of pars was near cracking. So I have desided to leav it as it is. Otherwise I have to take it all apart and start at the beginning again. So just have to live with it. And its just as you are saying, the construction of the trailer is much better now. So today I have been working on the hopper and traps... Need to make it to close and open... Need to buy some new evergreen profiles tomorrow. (The shopes are colesed over here now ) Working on the front and rear panel at this moment... Have som other prosjects that are going to be paintet this weekend also. Will post some more pictures of other prosjects also the next days. Hope everyone understand my english here. Not easy to write it when you not use it daily. Don't have any problem understandig you then Semi Trailer Mechanic: See you got a Pearless logger... That on my wishlist at this time.. They get a little expencive on Ebay for a student But one day.. one day....
  17. Great truck you are building here. Looks very clean. Think this will be a nice model when its done
  18. I can post more pictures of the progress.... Have to descide what to do with the underneith of the trailer today... Hoped that someone here would help me out.. Do you got some pictures of your hopper? Would be realy nice to have a look at it
  19. Thanks Tim! I have been in contact with you a couple of times about the Redwood Construction logo for a logger... Just one think that I need some help with. Think I have done a BIG mistake on the underneith (?) of the trailer. I have now discovered that many of the Wilson Grain Hoppers don't have the bottom "floor" that I got between the hoppers. It's just open underneith the "sloaps". Just wondering if its posible to get them like I build them, or if I have to remove everything and start all over.... Hope someone can help me out here... (sorry about my english) pic:
