Ah, totally cool tip on the HO scale chain link fence. I'm no race care expert but it looks very realistic to me. -
Bedford Recovery Truck (Emhar 1/24)
youngtiger1 replied to Pavel A.'s topic in Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
Now that is beautiful. All you need is an appropriate back ground and right photography and no one will be able to tell if this is a model. Can you please share the link to your build and is this a resin kit or scratch build with kit bashing? TIA Mike -

Totally cool and a perfect fit to a model/work bench. There a guy at a slot care race store that builds custom cabinets for customers that are design for guys that play/build slot cars. He can design and build them for any type of modeling bench and I'm hoping to have him build me one before the years end. A bit expensive but worth the cost consider what you get. Great progress buddy!! -
Found it This is nice...you are doing some great detail work here buddy!!

Glad to see this thread resurface again. Harry, I apologize for not responding to your reply regarding online build. I'm sure it was a long turn project thus hard to have an online build. Glad to see here done Harry. So, what are you building now? Mike

The new Freightliner?
youngtiger1 replied to Custom Hearse's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Clayton, Aaron, thank you for the information guys. It gives me plenty to think about. I checked locally for a school and it's about $1000 to $3200 depends on which school I chose. I guess the more money might be better training equipment? I hope you guys won't mind if I call on you again? Thanks. Btw, Clayton is that your truck in the avatar? If so, it's pretty cool looking -
The new Freightliner?

Thank you for answering my question, I'm not sure what I should get into. Perhaps, I should do a little research what is best for a new drivers in the beginning. So, do you drivers get paid differently for driving different types of loads...frozen, dry, liquid, or gravel? Also, does that require different certifications? What if I get my own license? Is that better approach or is it better to go through a big company like you did? Btw, do you guys have a lot of extra expenses? For example, sleeping in hotels and eating out? Mike -

Sounds like few truckers here. If you don't mind me asking, is it worth becoming a truck driver today and raise a family doing it? I'm thinking about getting a into driving trucks. -
