  1. Totally awesome. A quick glance and I say they have some cool stuff. I totally dig those 1/24 military kits. I might have to consider getting one to go with the Iraqi Convoy dio idea I have in mind. Thanks for sharing the info.
  2. Great build bill. I real like the KFS resin goodies. May I ask how much it cost? Can you share their web link? TIA
  3. Thanks again guys for all your help. I found an AMT kit on eBay for very reasonable price.
  4. Now this is what I'm talking about...thanks guys. After looking through the imcdb link, I think I really like to build the 1962/63 Ford Galaxie and looking through modelroundup site they have a conversion for the 63 police car. It's listed at $52.90 for the top body, bucket light, and Mayberry decals. According to the description I will still need to find a AMT 63 Ford to build the model. Well, I hope it's not a hard kit to find. It's interesting this project will cost just as much as an average 1/32 kit and depends on the aircraft...this will half in size. Well, I think it's still worth it. Btw, is it safe to order from model roundup? First time ordering anything from them, so I thought I ask. Thanks again guys. Mike
  5. Hey Guys, I need your help with information regarding a car model I will like to build. I am a big fan of the Andy Griffith Show and I will like to build the police car from the show. Is there any 1/25 or larger kit/decals out in the market that will help me with this project? Are there any figures of Andy and Barney out there? I remember Barney had a motorcycle with side care in one episode...that will be cool to build as well. Most of my resources are on military vehicle and aviation, so any input will be greatly appreciated Mike
  6. Great update and nice to see how well the alclade chrome worked out for you. I have it but haven't had the opportunity to us it. Not much chrome on military jets Btw, glad to see that your done with rivets. They sure take a lot of time. I'm restoring lost rivets on my kit right now but I'm cheating a little by using resin rivet decals Mike
  7. This one looks cool. As others have said the paint job is awesome Mije
  8. Yep, remember that big guy on those posters. I thought he must be Arnold's brother
  9. Cool...Thanks. I really like the look of that fluorescent red you used.
  10. This is cool project. As a kid I use to have a poster on my wall that showed Lamborghini Countach in CHP colors and aLow flying Lear Jet over it. I thought it was totally cool.
  11. Just saw this thread and it's totally cool. Great choice of subject and the work in awesome. Are most of the paint used by Tamiya? TIA Mike
  12. Greg, nice truck. Btw, who makes the Ward Cab? I hope you don't mind me asking. TIA Mike
  13. Great truck guys...I love it.
  14. No problem on the late reply. I figure it was scratch built but glad to see some of it was a kit be because I have that kit to steal parts from. One last thing...is there are WIP on here or another forum? I sure would love to see the in progress shots. Thanks again for your time. Mike
  15. Thanks William for letting me know. I sure will grab one.
  16. Looks good. I'm not a truck expert, so I need to ask...is this for the large Pete or KW kit? Mike
  17. Some nice look Trucks guys. One request, when you guys share your builds then how about post it with manufacture/scale? TIA Mike
  18. Totally cool. I'm hoping to find one for a reasonable price. Hoping Revell will reissue it soon. You have done great on this rig. Mike
  19. Yeah, I just saw the price myself. I didn't realize diecast models can cost that much. The complete setup of the tractor/trailer over $350...wow is right!! I wouldn't mind building one in 1/24. Looks totally cool with that extra bumper and lights.
  20. Oh, just in case you guys are wondering where to find it... http://www.cranesetc.co.uk/ ps: I don't own any shares in this company to promote their product. I just found it myself and though you guys might like it as well.
  21. Hey Gang, I was doing a quick research on trailers and found this little bit of clip showing a cool truck and trailer diecast model in 1/50. I will love to have something like this in regular 1/24 scale as a kit. Anyway, i hope you guys will enjoy it....I know I did..
  22. What an incredible model and completely scratch built... Mike
  23. Just saw this thread for the first time and all I can say is a big WOW. Pure mad skills at work here. Mike
