is there a difference between the HOK paint coast airbrush sells and the HOK blackgold sells ?? I had heard somewhere that blackgold HOK is not true HOK paint. any truth to that ????

kevin I think your model building is getting better but I truly think you have missed your calling. I think you should have been an actor because you sure love the drama !!!

I think and I could be wrong that with pearls you use a white base. but you could try the spoon test and experiment maybe try other colors like black too hope this is some help . never seen a silver pearl sounds cool.

hey mike just to let you know I live about 20 miles from the plant and its fate is still up in the air. they have been voting on concessions and what not but nothing has been decided yet.

I did not know you could order direct from bmf until reading this thread. because of shipping costs ordered 2 sheets. I got them yesterday. the new improved stuff. works and looks good. I am very happy with what they sent. it says on their website if you are buying just bmf to call them and get cheaper rates . they would send it mail instead of ups. only problem was they did not answer the phone.

hey phil I dont know if you remember me we met at last years mid atlantic show. I think thats what its called. it's the show in your area after the nnl east. anyways did you find a set of the wheels ??????? if not let me know I may have what your looking for. I have a set of those rims there off the 1970 wildcat by model king that came out like a year ago I think. there all solid chrome so they would have to be painted and they do fit great on the 520's but they dont have the slots let me know greg heres a pic of the kit. found it on ebay.

hey guys if this topic has been done before sorry. if it has if you could let me know where I can find it I sure would appreciate it. if not what I need is what size wire to use for heater hoses , radiator hose, spark plug wire and battery cable. also what can I use for hose clamps or some type of fittings to make for connections. I have seen pe hose clamps. is this what you guys use or something else? I would like to start adding some more details but on a budget. any help you guys could give would really be appreciated . thanks in advance greg
