Finally tracked one of these down on Wednesday. I've got the body nearly ready for a top coat. Only mods to the body involve opening up the grille in the nose. Base coat is Tamiya gray primer followed by Tamiya flat black. Once I get the areas that stay flat black masked off it'll get shot in Tamiya black with a Tamiya Gunmetal Grand Sport stripe and red hashmarks on the fenders. Started working on the oil tank under the hood. I think this tank from the C5R will be close enough with some mods. Thanks for looking.

Great job Izzy, I'm currently working on this kit too. I was wondering if anyone has a good pick from the top down showing the shape of the compartment that is left when the battery is removed. All the pics I've been able to find have the tank in place and it's difficult to guage how deep to make the new compartment. I've got the battery shaved out and I'm using a similar looking tank from the C5R kit for my project.
