I had found a site that carried a lot of off road parts especially for the AMT Blazer and Revell Bronco. Parts like bumpers, winches ect. Cannot locate it now.

I am also looking for a source for resin pick up tool boxes. Drawing a blank on searches. Anyone have a direction?

Sounds like you're thinking of Olson Brothers. Unfortunately for us, they are no longer producing parts.

Interesting that it appears to have the Halibrand wheels from the nineties’  Revell ‘32 Roadster kit.

That setup gives the best “rubber rake” of all the Revell deuces too, with the fronts being much shorter than the rears.
Great illustration for the box too!

I’m pretty sure this was meant to be an easy to build snap kit for Ford to run their version of the Make and Take on the Auto Show circuit. I bought the 1st Gen kit a couple weeks ago and it’s got the more typical detail for one of the Revell snap kits,

Yes, it was. Created for the truck's introduction/auto show circuit.

That said, if you get the more recent release in the flat Revell of Germany style box, it has a killer set of Cartograf decals that really make it look great - both inside and out.

  4. Just wanted to loop back and report that I received my order in 14 days flat (got the shipping notification 6 days after ordering).

Beautiful stuff, just like when Danny was selling them.

FYI - the prices on the website are for a pair of tires. Don't ask me how I know. 😆

Watch as he paints the gas tank.  He's using XF-56 Metallic Gray.

He moves quickly, which is important with Tamiya acrylics, in my experience. He paints the entire gas tank in 23 seconds. Any more time messing around with it will produce what you found - marring, pulling up, etc.

If I can't get the coverage I want in about this amount of time, I wait 30-60 minutes and recoat. Hope this helps. Model on!
