  1. Kevin, while I can't argue the fitment issues of this kit, let me remind ANYONE under age 45 that this kit was tooled in 1957 or there a bouts ! The ability to mold , manufacture delicate pieces was still being experimented with . Remember , Revell had only gotten into plastic automobiles back in 1950....... Go easy on technology , will ya ? Ed Shaver
  2. Bill, uh whats wrong with being old ? Heck I live very close to a gentleman who still drives his 1954 Corvette he still maintains on his own too. Oh he's 77. I turned 60 back in December and my first model was A M T's 1961 Thunderbird convertable ............ Hey great revue !!!!!!!! Ed Shaver

  13. I'll probably buy a couple just to have a couple of Hudsons , one a convertable . Now I'll have to decide on which service station to put one of the Hudsons into........ Ed Shaver
  14. Matt, there are model price guides , however , they're not always a decent barometer as values fluctuate all the time . You have e-model cars , Evil bay , I won't deal with them period and Crack 's list . You can spend all day perouseing every model forum on the net . Oh that takes time and then the big model shows . Shoot, I buy kits as I need a kit . If the guy is trying to finance his retirement , I have been known to tell someone , "Yer dreamin "! Look, I happen to be in the meuseuem exibit business and I still handle Early Ford parts . Iwon't work certain shows cause the vendor fees are too high or the crowd is a looky luer bunch . Just about all the vendors that work the Virginia , Texas , and North carolina shows know who I am . I'm out to buy a model kit to actually BUILD IT . Hey, , I know thats a "federal krime" Ya wanna know sumthin else , I don't care ! If the price is within your're budget , buy the thing ! Ed Shaver
  15. Ian, dat be some fine fittin there ! I wonder iffin ya ever took to cuttin , dicin an a slicin dem ole rusty relics I used to see when I worked in Cleveland back in the early 1970's . Ed Shaver
  16. Jody, bear in mind that Fiber Optics will bend light and only illuminate at the very end. With that said , you can have a piece of fiber optic material laying horizontially and still, only the very end will show light ......... Ed Shaver

  24. Jody-- Tony, uh currently there aren't any really "Decent " looking Flouresent light on the market in 1-24th or 1-25th scale. I know of a 3/4 inch long Floresesent "Appearing" lamp thats avalible through some doll house acessory suppliers I deal with . They're about the size of an old A G C fuse . I have been making mine by using Plastruct "H " bar and cuttining it into a U . I then put a frosted sheet of acetate over it to diffuse the light and I will have about 4 Grain of Wheat bulbs in one of my home made fixtures .I wish I could offer more . Since I can't , it's coffee time again. I have caffine poor blood . Ed Shaver
  25. I was told by a couple of hobby shop wholesalers that A M T always had the better distribution lines back in the day so to speak. Marc is correct in both the Javlin and the Toronado. A M T also distributed the origional 1928 Ford Model A tudor for M P C and a 1965 Dodge Coronet as well. Going back further , A M T also did all the distribution for rival S M P 1958-61 as well. Such kits included the Impala , the Elcamino and I think the Bonniville . Ed Shaver
