  1. Need hinges for coups roadsters. I tried this....R/C model airplane hinges from the wings. The plastic is of a differenr materal,so you'll have to use super glue,or slow drying CA.Do NOT get any on the hinge pin ! found that out the hard way. this is on my 36 Ford. Now a close-up. If you look close you can see the front of the hinge that I run it through a slot through the cowl, and glued it to the firewall. It's covered up by the hood. Worked well on this also. Better than those small ones in this kit.
  2. This is all I had to start with in the build above.Tip for ya..Revell 55 Chevy frame fits nice under this body. The larger sixe 49 Merc skirts fit nice. My insperation.Someone should cast this.
  3. here is a suprise for ya. I opened the glove box door, and made a box to fit inside the glove box to handle papers.there is a trans in the back with fluid lines. It's on the right in the pic.
  4. That is nice ! Who needs "custom" paint job. Got one of them on my list to do someday. mine will have a flathead 6cyl. Saw an article on how to do that,so I got the motor allready done, now just have to get the kit.
  5. As you can see..there is a lot of work ahead !!! This was my insperation.

    A home run Lyle !
  10. That is nice.Taking spare parts to make something nice. Reminds me of this cartoon. It shows this guy's mother comming out to the garage, and sees this big mess, and wants the son to clean out the garage. Well,he sees this part conects to this part, and on,and on. Then his mom comes out into the garage, and sees this nice street rod. She asked "Where did that come from?" To which he replied "Mom, it's a long story"!

    "T" HOT ROD

Shortened pickup bed,and painted front "I" beam front axle. This was done a lot in the 60s,before chrome tube axles became popular, also the rear end was painted ,and usually pin striped on the axle shaft housings as seen from the rear.

  13. I have to make a Correction. Scott called me,and asked me to correct what he used for his lights...he has used two car interior lights, and a 12 volt plug in wall charger.Sorry about the mistake.
  14. The rod over the bays will be for the electric chain hoist, and slides from one bay to another. It now has a roof on it.
  15. It had two full length trailers painted the same as tractor. Hauled steel from Gary,Indiana to Detroit.Six trips a week.Never ever saw this one dirty. The guy was obsessed with having a clean truck.
  16. [ Is this the one? quote name=AgentG' timestamp='1283310604' post='356073] Here's one I did years ago. Revells '29 Ford, scratch built surf board, board rack, bulb horn, and blanket. Doors are slivers of a real hula skirt. It had a Hawaii plate on it that disappeared when I moved. G
