  1. Maybe this site can assist you. http://www.wwmodelclub.org/extra/sd_scalecalc2.htm
  2. I had the same problem with it, but I plan to try it again.
  3. I check CL on a daily basis, but never find anything.
  4. I use both rattle can and airbrush on one build. I buy the cheap ColorPlace stuff from WalMart for primer and base coats. I use Testors and Model Master Metallics through the airbrush for final color. For my clear coat I'm kind of partial to Valspar Krystal Gloss Clear from Michaels. I've never wetsanded or polished anything (since I would have no clue how to go about it or what to buy).
  5. That's where I got that decal was LIL. I've got pics saved on my comp but not sure if you could print a decent one up, plus they're not PG13.
  6. "Lowrider murals" is all I put, but you never get a clear enough pic of anything to be able to print it out.
  7. Ahh, see bro, that's just the style I want for the lows. Thought about hittin you up, but I wouldn't even know where to start lookin for the images I want. Google doesn't help much.
  8. Well, I'm just a little irritated. I went to put the decal on the trunk and it started to crack and the colors started to run. Now I don't know what the heck to do.
  9. Made some progress on the Galaxie. The paint looks like crud, but oh well, I'm not stripping it AGAIN. Still gotta BMF and clear. I'm gonna TRY to plumb up the pumps too.
  10. I think happy hour started a LITTLE early for this person.
  11. The wheels come in the Aoshima Toyota Hilux kits and the plate, as well as the bed cover decal were custom made by my buddy Eelco (diymirage).
  12. I have never seen one other than the outlaw style.
  13. I've used hangers MANY times, they work perfect.
  14. Actually, in the right light it looks more like an Aztec Gold. The decal is on clear paper, I bought a few of em from a guy over on LIL. I'm gonna make a template for it and paint the area under it silver.
  15. After MONTHS of searching, and 25 test shots, I FINALLY found the perfect color for this. It's Turn Signal Amber over Krylon Leather Brown.
  16. DANG Mark, she's two timing both of us. She was just here last night.
  17. If you have it sitting corner to corner it'll fit, from front to back its just under 4 inches, ID.
  18. I've hardly ever seen the year in the listing, I just search for "Ram Dually". As a matter of fact, here ya go, and the price is right. http://cgi.ebay.com/1996-Dodge-Ram-Dually-1995-New-Old-Stock-/320547096776?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4aa21888c8 There's more, but the prices seem just a LITTLE ridiculous at $30+.
  19. Then your option is the snapfast Dodge Dually. About the only place to find it is Ebay. Otherwise there's the snapfast Chevy X cab Dooley, or the Ford F-350 X cab Dually.
  20. The new color will be Stop Light Red Metallic over Fire Red. Because of the humidity I can't get it sprayed right now. My only choice is to paint late at night, so I could have it done in a couple weeks. This is a sample of the color, can't really see it very well, the sun isn't shining today.

    Imagine this

    That's pretty darn cool.
  22. Awesome, looks like somethin I'd see around here.
  23. This time it's gonna be a simple red metallic.
