I'm trying to give this out-of-the-ordinary built a new lease on life. This is the way I got it... Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki ...and here's where I'm at now. I lowered it, and it's painted with the new "Inca Gold" from Testors. The bumpers will be replated. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki I'm still not sure of the wheels/tires, Hosted on Fotki The wheels on the left are from "Aoshima", #98, Volk Racing GT-C, and on the right are from Pegasus. I'm still undecided Hosted on Fotki The interior was repainted from an awful brown, to this light tan, and will be tu-toned a lighter shade, with BMF, and some flocking. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki ...stay tuned... Albert

Very nice Sully, Here's my "Friday Night Special"...Built wayyy back in the 80s. Wheels and tires are from the very hard to find, "Arii" wheel/tire sets Hosted on Fotki It's "All Jo-Han", with the HEMI from a '64 Dodge kit.. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Albert -

Very Nice Jeff, Here's my "Pre-Painted" version... I started with the die cast kit (opening doors and trunk) , which came painted in these colors. I then detailed the already Red interior with White "accents", BMF, and added "Satco" blackwall tires, and "Modelhaus" 61/62 dog dish caps which were chrome plated. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki I painted the inner trunk area a light gray, and then "spattered" it with black ...spatter? LOL Hosted on Fotki Painted the (chrome) outter wheel black, and left the "caps" chrome. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki ..and called this "quick" ? project, done. I read with interest your post on the '57. Here's another idea.. Hosted on Fotki I talked with the owner about the tu-tone colors, and he mention.."Iris Mist", and "Iris Mist" with a little Silver mixed in it. The model show was great!! Steve H. and the guys really put on a great show, year after year. Over one thousand models I heard were displayed, the sounds were bumpin', and the vendors were busy. Can't wait til next year!!
