I stumbled across this and I thought you guys and gals may like it.

Out of all of those you posted, I find THAT one to be the most offensive...
I agree since I was born and rasied in Newport Rhode Island

I'm waiting for the "Arm- Chair " engineer's " here to trash the kit before I get burned on this one as I did the Bonniville Ht. Ed Shaver
ed to heck with the arm chair engineers, just build it for fun,I do.
-
I did the same thing with the fast and furios 70 charger, that road runner chassis is just a little trim here and there and it slips right in.
-
no i found this pic as a link from a news site i read from

I like it and its a nice clean build,But on a hot day when the sweat is dripping in my eyes I swear I read this as "Blown Away Fart"
No offense.

But of course box stock can be challanging also, every so often rather enjoyable.
-
there is WAY too much of this "rainbows and ponies" mindset infecting this forum lately.
Now that line had me spit soda out the nose, thanx
-
Thats a nice old jem,I would love to see if you decide to finish Tim, And I agree I would love to see the van seen return again with today tech added to the splash.

Momma Notarangelo once said "if you have nothing nice to say just shut up"
Nice work John and it is a nice way of updating a rather old kit, You could model the seat alone and win a few trophys for the case.
-
Honestly Rommel,it all depends on the mood and kit basicly.
Do I wana go stock or maybe slightly modified,or full out zoom zoom on it.
It is a good question thought but it really depends on afew of those factors.
-
why does this remind of something I've seen at the bar one night "Hey let me whip my stash out to show you how big it is"
-
Will it work on Tamiya spray, cause I got a whole rack I sprayed gloss red last summer and it bubbled badly.??
-
I took one of the GTX/Roadrunner kits and japped the chassis and and stuff and put it in the FAST AND FURIOUS 70 charger that also comes with all the 69 charger parts and made a much better model then what the craploa comes in the box with.

and this shows where I had to do a slight modify of the chassis plate to make it fit and you gotta do some trimming of the rad wall

These days it's very hard to tell a "foreign" car from a "domestic" car. The labels are almost meaningless, few cars are actually built only in the country that they are supposedly "from"...
Example everyone thinks my 96 saturn sl2 is my from japan but it was made in Tenn here in the states
-
Sorry it took so long. Couldn't find it.
Terry
i will be saving this also
thanks terry
-
that looks really cool
-
you know the old amt/mpc/round2 kits yes they can be a challange but if you work them just right you got a nice looking model, besides until we get more intrest in our hobby we take what we can get and stock up on the rest.
-
To see how to pull it off if your interest gregg or harry contact John Lester at www.starshipmodeler.com and he can tell or show you how to pull it off.

When I was running the hobbyshop,I had a customer get the large bottle of zap-a-gap and that night cut the top off and promply spill the glue right down on the happy area.
Needless to say after a trip to the hospital to have his pants surgically removed he never did that again.
Won this in a model contest raffle.
