  1. Here are some lights that I think are going to come in handy for models and dioramas, and I plan to use them on this build. Watch the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hotYkboShxc:
  2. Brendan, yes, it's printed paper coated in Dullcoat or art fixative on both sides so that the ink don't bleed . . . Thank you for all the generous comments, my friends, stay tuned in for more progress. I've got all the engine parts painted and ready for assembly.
  3. I agree with Geoff, when you want anything to be permanent, go with the 2 part resin. I also like to use RANGER's "GLOSSY ACCENTS" for small jobs.
  4. Thanks for posting the eye candy. I plan to hit up a few shows this summer.
  5. Tommy, thank you. If you go to GOOGLE IMAGE and punch in DOLLAR BILL you'll get a whole bunch of graphics you can photo reduce to make fake money. I printed them up between 1/4 and 1/2 inch just because if you go too small, you really can appreciate the look.
  6. Looking good, Ira . . . I think that smile is really really growing on me!
  7. Dave, I was thinking about the same thing, but I guess it's a little artistic license . . . I guess it's rained and all those plants and trees on the plane have been soaked, etc . . .
  8. Great prognosis . . . and yes, these things are always stressful but family and friend support is always a great healer.
  9. Yeah, I don't get the bikes either. I wish this one would have been a car/submersible vehicle. I agree it is very cool. I wonder how long all that metal would last in pristine condition. I guess you have to soap and wash of the salt water.
  10. Thanks, Derrick . . . I just have the engine to finish and this one will be done. I'm still missing a few details, like the side mirror, etc . . .
  11. My favorite angle because I really like those pasties . . .
  12. What I love about this kit is how easy it all comes together. I am currently working on the engine, so this one is going to get wrapped up in the next few days here . . . Here's some progress: I really do like the fact that you can still some of the interior through the mesh on the heart.
  13. James, I just did a video on the stuff I used on a regular basis, and well, some that I haven't used in years and of course they got ruined . . . Watch the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZlZ5XUCeiE:
  14. Thanks, Marcus. Jim, like any type of dog, they can be trained (and bred) to be mean. This is how Pitbulls ended up getting banned (the only breed to be banned anywhere in the country) in South Florida. It's not the breed, it's the people breeding them for fighting and other nasty business.
  15. That's cool, I am sure she will love it.
  16. Thanks, Shane, I do too, it is so creepy . . . and possible too.
  17. I was beginning to wonder where you were hiding out, Phil. Welcome and I can't wait to see what you will cook up.
  18. Excellent, all it needs is some sand on a base and you'll have a great little model that really POPs!
  19. Interesting frame, I too say keep it going, and keep sharing your progress with us, of course.
  20. Great color, stance, and foil work. Thanks for sharing it with us. Very nice.
  21. That's a beauty, and shiny too. Love the contrast on the interior. Excellent.
  22. Chris, that's a wonderful model. Excellent job on the details.
  23. Boy, that's one beautiful combination. Love it, thanks for letting me know.
