  1. Now there is a gasser with plenty of style!
  2. Definitely some wonderful eye candy.
  3. Wayne, close minded people exist in all hobbies, all walks of life . . . that's how it goes and you can let them get you discouraged. Period. It's a great big world out there with room for everyone, so yes, I agree with you, we must keep at it. Rob, the Alpacalypse is way too funny. Of course, none would end up with such pristine coats. LOL.
  4. Great start, James . . . looking forward to more.
  5. That is one clean and smooth and beautiful model. Congratulations.
  6. Beautiful ride, Jon. I like it. Thanks for sharing it.
  7. Thanks, Andrew, yes, there's going to be some weathering and aging coming up . . . after I get all the elements in place, etc . . . I can see some cobwebs too! LOL.
  8. Thank you for that link Brendan.
  9. Thank you, James, I will look up that book and get it. I collect that kind of stuff.
  10. Harry, I got the stuff from different sources: http://half-scale-miniatures.com/shop/ http://www.dollhousecity.com/1/2-inch-dollhouse-furniture It's just amazing what's out there, but the standard scale for doll house stuff is still 1 inch. 1/2 inch is just now catching up in interest.
  11. Love the dashboard, nice work, that interior is going to be a looker. Keep it going.
  12. Thanks for the videos, Shane. These help out quite a bit.
  13. Fuel up and keep it going.
  14. This type of masking is time consuming, but it will get you good results. Can't wait to see it.
  15. There you go, Jim, all of this gets us back to the bench which is where we need to be. Thanks, Bryan . . . Here is a little video I whipped up and which you can watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raRwQCHR1c8:
  16. Super cool, Ira. Great finish. Another wonderful model in your collection.
  17. Here are some more views: Now I am still trying to track down an organ or piano and a couple of chandeliers . . . stay tuned in for more . . .
  18. Here is some progress with the walls. I am still working on detailing them . . . also, eventually I will play around with mood lighting to create different effects, but so far I like the way it is turning out . . . Nothing is glued down, and the stuff on the walls is held by blue tac so it can all be moved around . . .
  19. Yes, lots of nice touches on this build. Excellent. Congratulations.
  20. Ryan, for some reason I didn't see your post until now. I will have to get a copy of that book.
  21. Okay, make next one a model, so I can guess right!
  22. I believe you can, Len. There's a new DVD out from Adam Wilder that focuses on the many uses of P.E., and in there I see him soldering pieces.
  23. Adam, sounds good to me. I kept wondering if the show would take place now in June, but I see you guys moved it to another spot and date. I will put it on the calendar and plan to attend. Best, DC
  24. Interesting information to mull over, Ed. Thank you.
