I am a strong believer kids can be brought into the hobby and maintained interested. I have a friend who has been building model planes with his son, who is 7, and the kid is crazy about planes. He says he's going to grow up to be a pilot and an aeronautical engineer . . . One kid at a time, the hobby can be rebuilt this way, and it's up to us, the older generations to help. Again, just my 2 cents worth.

For car kits, I use MODEL ROUND UP. For other things, I used HOBBY LINK JAPAN, MISSION MODELS, and GAMES WORKSHOP.

It's all a sign that you are too far gone with the STYRENE FEVERS!

Erik, believe it or not, I saw that Mini airbrushed down in Ft. Lauderdale last year, done in scale. What a great paint job. Bryan, thanks for sharing those builds, buddy . . . it's good to see them holding up after all these years. I am off to buy some paint to paint the shadowbox. Black on the outside, red velvet on the inside. Stay tuned in . . . also, I got all the parts of the 49 Merc in primer now.
