  1. Wonderful, Ira. It shows you had a blast, and we got fed lots of great eye candy in the process. Eat up, rest, recharge the batteries and keep on building! We can always use more eye candy from you!
  2. That engine compartment is a work of beauty. Excellent model.
  3. Steven, and that's a great thing. See, while you guys keep building these great vehicles, I keep visualizing the CARAVAN line stretching down my driveway from the garage to the mail box, which is about 25 yards or so. I really want to learn to fly an RC helicopter so that I can put a camera on it and take some aerial views of the caravan!
  4. The Gloss/Gunk, Gloss/Gunk formula not only helps keep things exciting a the bench, but it also keeps you from pulling out your hair! Or maybe it puts hair on your head, I don't know. Whatever keeps you building, finally, is all that matters.
  5. Is it the angle of the photo, or does it look like the van's been turned stubby? Shortened?
  6. Wait, JB & RC Cola will make your veins rusty!
  7. Sam, I really love those photos. The backdrop is perfect eye candy. The model is very cool too.
  8. Dr. Cranky

Another beautiful model. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Andy, that's one nice looking model. Lots of great details to look at throughout. Welcome to the forum and I hope you will keep sharing more of your eye candy.
  10. Charles, welcome to the forum, and THANK YOU for sharing this build and the unique subject matter. I tell you, it looks just right to me. The weathering on the interior details is spot on. Excellent.
  11. That's one nice and smooth build. I like it and thanks for sharing.
  12. Tony, I found them at the crafts store. They are either ear ring or lapel pin backs. Thanks, buddy. Mark, Ken, and G, those vehicles are looking fabulous. I love the way the CARAVAN is filling out with all sorts and types of vehicles. That's what it's all about. Keep these Zombie Hunters going.
  13. So what you are saying, Jim, is that gloss runs in your blood? LONG LIVE SHINY!
  14. LOL, Ian, I think the old Doctor has 9 lives!
  15. Chuck, I think tweaking the titles to sections is perfect. Rob, yes, my friend, it started with a simple exchange between us and a day later we've heard many wonderful points of views on the issue. I really appreciate all the input and all I can say is that at the end of the day this is what makes the forum a much better place, the civil exchange of ideas. Some will work, others will not, and that's how it goes, but positive changes will always help keep making the place better.
  16. Curt, not all of Doctor Cranky's builds are crusty. Well, wait? Now that I think about it even my shiny stuff might be "crusty" too since it comes from the same place: MY CRUSTY, GUNKED, and FERMENTED (DEMENTED rhymes with it) Mind! LOL!
  17. Thanks for letting me know, John. That one looks pretty good so I understand why you are using it to help you mock up the build.
  18. Beautiful. It's great to see a new kit get under a builder's skin (that's one way of putting it!) and you've been building a nice, stand-out series of these, Chuck. Can't wait to see what else you do with the Hudson.
  19. Thanks, Neal, the CARAVAN is coming together nicely. Could you imagine if we were all allowed to build these machines in real life and then take them on the road. Gee, maybe that's how Mad Maxx got going.
  20. LOL, I was thinking we'd call it LONG LIVE RUST and get Jim really riled up!
  21. "If someone chums the water with you , don't rise to the bait , be here to learn rather than a target for confrontation ." Donn those are the wisest words I've heard on this forum in a long time!
  22. Harry, when you get Donn's DVD's make sure you watch them on a day your local Hobby Shop is open because I am predicting you are going to lose your mind like I did and then start getting all the supplies to spend the next month painting shiny models!
  23. Gregg, you just let us know how we can be of help (beginning with Harry's suggestions) in order to make whatever changes you want to make. Which includes if you want Doctor Cranky to don his FOREVER LAZY and do a car wash to help raise funds, you let me know. Seriously, other than coming up with more ideas and suggestions, how CAN WE HELP?
  24. Hugh, wait, my eyes just popped out of my skull. WOW! Those tanks are perfect, and so are the tires, and the whole truck. Just thinking about those tanks gets my imagination cranked up. What's in them? Zombie puree? LOL! Keep it going.
  25. I agree with Harry, builds like this one deserve as much attention as they can get. Great job, Chuck, and I'm trying to pin down what color that is. Where is it from?
