  1. Beautifully done, and to one of my favorite kits of recent years. Wonderful, and congrats.
  2. Aha, yes, as an investment. I would not mind selling or trading a valuable kit for something I am desperately in need of . . . etc . . .
  3. By the way, my sets of wheels from TREVORSTOYBOX arrived and they have WOWED ME. They are excellent tires and wheels and I can't wait to put them on a vehicle . . . next build, hopefully. Great, fast service by the way, with wonderful packaging thrown in for good measure.
  4. It sounds to me like it's the perfect addition to the Post Apocalypse Builds going on right now. Great eye candy, and thanks for sharing it.
  5. My research is baring lots of great fruit in terms of what I really have in mind for the H.H.D.:
  6. And the eye candy keeps rolling in . . . I punched in POST APOCALYPSE HIGHWAY on GOOGLE and here's some of what I found:
  7. And a few more . . . Lots of ideas . . .
  8. Started the day with some roadside bomb crater research:
  9. Manny, love those pictures, and your models. Very cool. Keep the eye candy coming, folks.
  10. I would have to add here that probably the rarest kit is the one built that becomes an infamous build because of some new technique or because the builder hit a Grand Slam. A model that becomes an icon in the hobby, etc . . .
  11. Neal, you are right, I like that Hummer too. I am surprised not more people are at least using the tires and some of the panels that come with that kit.
  12. Some cool vehicles shown, but I have to agree that the best kit is a BUILT kit . . . although I can see wanting to collect box art.
  13. Thanks, Chuck, for this wonderful document which should help lots of folks about to tackle the kit for the first time.
  14. Looking beautiful, can't wait to see it with shoes on!
  15. Another great Merc in the works, love it! That engine is looking perfect in there.
  16. Wayne, the build is coming along very well. Keep it going. EVERYBODY keep up the builds and the amazing energy!
  17. Derrick, I like the idea . . . yes, some good guys, I have a whole bunch of Preiser figures too, but these you are working on all fit in very well. Yes, let the Zombie Wars begin. All right, Welcome to the CARAVAN, Luis. Another recruit joins the ranks. Gen. EYEGORE is very happy, happy, happy!
  18. Geez, talk about riding style. The one thing I am not convinced about are those draggin' skulls. They look huge and way out of scale.
  19. I'm loving every step on this one. Great job.
  20. Okay, Grandma has fallen and she can't get up! The Zombies are at her door, her windows . . . they are huffing and puffing, pushing and breaking . . . Won't you join in to help Grandma. We almost have Donn Yost convinced!
  21. Yes, what Harry said, I think many of us learn techniques along the way and stick with what works. What's that old saying: you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Now, techniques get dumped by the wayside by much better and sound ones.
