  1. Please view special announcement:
  2. As you should be, Rob. You will be a couple of more models richer!
  3. Erik, that's funny because that's how many I have, no more, no less. Every once in while I just need to cull from the stash to make more room. Not enough lifetimes to finish them all, sure, but they are fun to have around. It's good for the imagination.
  4. Dale, it looks like you are on your way! CAN SOMEONE DO A ROLL CALL, PLEASE, of the TROOPS to see how many people we have? The more the more fun we'll have! Also, so I can post the list in the original thread. Thank you. ALSO, PLEASE STAY TUNED IN FOR A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!
  5. Plus, I wonder how many of you remember (and miss them!) the days of having 2 Back-To-Back 3-Day Weekends when we celebrated Washington's and Lincoln's birthdays. Of course, Congress put an end to that!
  6. Peter, I love the idea. That's very cool. Yes, I think that would be mighty fine!
  7. FOLKS, PLEASE STAY TUNED IN FOR A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT from DOCTOR CRANKY! YOU ARE GOING TO LIKE IT!
  8. Wayne and Erik, you guys are hitting home runs here . . . wow, what unique vehicles! Amazing! Keep the eye candy coming. Wayne, I know you've just started working on this, but it already has the right look. Keep it going, please.
  9. That's an extremely cool fire truck!
  10. Cool. Again, no rules, just stress-free building. Well, other than the time constraint!
  11. That's looking real good, Rob. Shoot, better than real good. I love it. Keep it going.
  12. There you go, Wayne, WELCOME to the TZH SQUAD CARAVAN! Build your heart out and join in the fun! That's the spirit!
  13. Here are some still pics. Someone gave me the great idea of turning the flame thrower into a harpoon gun instead and I have to confess I love the idea. I can see it, someone manning the harpoon, sitting on a 55 gallon drum with lengths of rope at his/her feet. Nice.
  14. LOL, so much for taking a little break. I am back on the bench and making progress on the SNIPER. Those of you who chimed in with all kinds of great ideas, I thank you. Some paid off.
  15. Folks, this TOOTHLESS ZOMBIE HUNTER SQUAD build is really getting the best of me, it's really doing a number on my imagination. Check this out and then stay tuned in for a special message from Doctor Cranky about some fun and exciting things coming up that everyone can participate in!
  16. Thanks, Rick, for getting us back into another one Another 3-DAY BUILD, and this time you can build either something new or a project that's been sitting on your bench neglected. There are no rules for this, but you can follow the same guidelines: Saturday = cleaning up and primering the parts Sunday = Painting Monday = Assembling and detailing. Working through the night is allowed. Post all your progress pictures here to this thread. Start thinking about what you will do, and you will have plenty of ideas by the time the 3-DAY WEEKEND arrives.
  17. Thanks, Billy Joe for doing this comparo. Too bad that driver figure is not a Mr. T!
  18. My advice is never skimp on safety. Ventilate, filter, do everything possible not to take in any of the stuff. Also remember that it comes it through your eyes and your skin. The idea is to have a long fruitful and safe building building career.
  19. Wayne, LOL, we are all getting old. The vision goes, but we have to take care of our fingers and hands!
  20. Definitely deserves to be finished. It's looking good in that color.
  21. I've had a few of these Roth kits over the years, and they are nice as collectors items, but I find them a real chore to put one together. Too often all the parts have flash and seams and the chrome is not the best quality. It's never my cup of tea, but I do raid them for parts here and there . . .
  22. Oh yes, that engine is looking perfect for the occasion . . . keep it going, Shane.
  23. Ranma just pointed out there's another 3-Day weekend coming in up February. Presidents' Day. Around the 20th, so maybe we can get something going for that one. I think this next one should include a FINISH AN OLD BUILD in 3 DAYS! too.
  24. Use a hobby knife, new and sharp and cut them slowly over a piece of tape so they don't fly out. As if you were cutting carrots. LOL! Remember that once they are on and if they look too big, you can sand them down.
