  1. Tony, is there a link to the place you mentioned?
  2. I listen to Tom Waits, REM, of course Johnny Cash. Bob Dylan . . . lots of music always in the Lab-RAT-ory. Thank for the support, Ian.
  3. Looking real good. I love those rear tires.
  4. Excellent job, Dave. Very nice and smooth. Really wonderful job. I will check out your Fotki now.
  5. Dave, the front grill clip doesn't fit right and the hood scoop option is not large enough, so there are these unnatural gaps. I'm hoping it's just my kit, which is why I'm asking others. On the rear side window inserts are so tight that when I snapped one in by force the post broke at the bottom. Maybe I'm being too rough on this rather small kit. LOL, I guess I would probably destroy a Mini Cooper if I ever built one!
  6. Michael, forgive my ignorance, you are right. I've always thought of them as BIONICLES, but you are right, they are made by LEGO.
  7. Builds like this really exercise the imagination, which is, after all, what I am after just to get myself motivated again . . .
  8. Here's some progress, almost ready for primer, but I still have a few bits and pieces to work over. My plan is to primer early tomorrow, then work on the chassis, primer that too, and then it's painting and assembly. The clock is ticking says EYEGORE!
  9. I thought you had disappeared into that paint booth, Donn. Glad you came up for air. Great to hear from you. Yeah, it was about time I kicked myself out of the couch and started back on the builds. Granted, this one is not shiny, but we'll get back on track before you know it. I love those Primanti Bros. sandwiches. Man, I had 2 the first time I went there, which happened to be the last. Stay tuned for some progress pics. Chris, that is looking very good. Keep it coming.
  10. Wayne, thanks for bringing us that amazing build, and the link. I love builds like this. They are just so cool and original. Loads of fun. Speaking of fun, I hope everyone is having their share. I am having a blast! Keep the eye candy coming!
  11. Wow, Christian, much appreciated. It just goes to show what you can do with love and passion! Your father should be very proud to have helped out.
  12. All you need is love, da-da-da-da-da. Love is all you need, yeah! THANKS to all the CRANKYHEADS out there for vising the LOUNGE. EYEGORE is happy, happy, happy!
  13. Thanks for posting it over here, Ira. This way all the crazyness is contained! LOL. Yes, off to primer it is! Good luck to everyone, and remember to eat and stay energized. Small snacks work wonders. More soon . . . .
  14. I know how it is. Gotta get there myself one day soon.
  15. Here's some more progress: http://www.youtube.com/user/damncranky666?feature=mhee
  16. More progress happening this afternoon. Enjoy and cheers, DC
  17. Nice, I like it. Good kit too. Well, the clock is ticking, tick-tick-ticking away the time!
  18. Barry, your painting is FABULOUS. Great work, and I am delighted to have you on board. I am sure you are going to continue creating some wonderful vehicles.
  19. Looking good, Ira, but please feel free to post your pictures and project over to my thread, this way it's all together in one place, right? Can't wait to see what you cook up. Hey, the clock is ticking!
  20. Bring it on, Chris. Join in the fun. Here's some more progress: I am uploading a new progress vid, stay tuned in for more . . .
  21. Here's a little eye candy for this lovely and cold Saturday. Enjoy:
  22. Thanks, everyone. No, not LEGOS, they are BIONICLE toy pieces. Thanks for the scrapple sandwich wishes. The mesh is from the craft store. Here's more progress:
  23. Bionicle, Warhammer 40K, military vehicles of all types, they are all good, and, of course, the old reliable mesh! Stay tuned in for more pics . . . this was progress around 7am this morning.
  24. Digging deep into the parts box for some goodies . . . The build is underway . . . I think it's going to be a curbside although hit will still have lots of details throughout . . .
