I don't know, Harry, I still enjoy walking into my LHS and browsing the aisles, looking around for stuff . . . but maybe you are right, it might just be nostalgia.
I like doing both, although I know that eventually one will win out over the other.
Wayne, that's a great point, and it should be true of all professions out there. You have to stay up to date on information and technology.
In the same we keep track of all the tips and techniques we learn as modelers along the way.

The extra parts ARE nice.
For my purposes right now the tub is just fine the way it is, but I can see if you want to super detail and customize it might be worth looking into cutting it up.
There's a little bit of flash here and there, but not enough to detract from an otherwise BEAUTIFUL kit. I love it. Ah, the options! Who knew that the Gremlin would be so loved once again. LOL!
It comes with a nice print you can frame and hang at your bench!
