  1. My first computer was a Commodore 64! I bought it for almost 500 dollars and sold it ten years later for 600. Not bad.
  2. No 5 and a quarter floppy disks!
  3. LOL, yes, race fashion has come a long ways!
  4. WOW, now, THAT is wild. LOVE IT! Looks like a raging bull!
  5. LOL! I still have all my old records too and a pretty fancy record player, but it's all sat here like some ancient relic, even the kids never showed any interest until recently. I have to get a new needle for the turn table, and who knows if I could ever find one.
  6. Thank you, Al. I was inspired by Ken Hamilton's infamous 50 Chevy Truck, and these kinds of vehicles are just a lot of fun to build.
  7. Here's a little unveiling video of both VANTASTIC and the 76 Gremlin and all that comes in the box. Enjoy:
  8. Here's my little unveiling:
  9. LOL, Lane, I had never noticed. Rob is right, techniques make the modeling world go around. Check out what just arrived:
  10. Here are a few more pictures:
  11. Good tip and technique. I like to use an old toothbrush to do that. It's all fun, getting all that Zombie blood down! Cheers, DC
  12. That looks fabulous, Richard. Delighted to see bigger, clearer pictures. You went and gunkified it, rusted it, made it nice a cruddy, and I mean that as a compliment. Nice!
  13. Love the splatter . . . the last couple of picks are a little blurry, but I like where your build is heading. Keep it going. I see you got some of that red paint on your fingers. LOL.
  14. Mike, I agree with Harry, that's a wonderful (and I know it would happen again because I think people are good for the most part) thing!
  15. I am delighted to see you guys are having some fun with this one . . . Some technologies are useful, but personally I come from the school who believes a computer should never replace a human being, not at work or anywhere else. Then again, i don't run a business with a huge payroll.
  16. The LOUNGE is officially open, so come on in . . . and join in all of the fun.
  17. BARRY, welcome to the FORUM and welcome most certainly to this THREAD. Ah, you are one of Doctor Cranky's Post-Apocalypse model building heroes. Ever since I saw that 49 Merc, I fell in love with your work. I hope you will join in the fun once again, and continue to share your amazing eye candy with us.
  18. Wow, I really love all these pics. I put my stuff all over the place, mostly in those plastic drawer thingies you can pick up at the big outlet stores.
  19. Rob, we've learned in the last 50 years that it ain't really science fiction anymore!
  20. Lordy, it all looks good. It received a wonderful review in TAMIYA MODEL MAGAZINE INTERNATIONAL . Jairus, why do I have a feeling you might turn it into your APOCALYPSE contribution?
  21. Folks, I am not kidding when I tell you that in the next 20 years or sooner we'll be able to get some sort of implant that where we won't need any more gadgets, it will all be in our heads!
  22. All right, it's set up . . . you can follow the new posts by putting in your email where it says FOLLOW BY EMAIL. You will find it right above EYEGORE on the right hand side of the blog page. Thank you, and thank you some more for being a part of this . . .
  23. Thanks, everyone. I really appreciate your help in spreading the word. Andy, I am trying desperately to add the FOLLOW link on there. I'm still looking on how to do it. Stay tuned in.
