  1. Way to go, Spike. Sweet, I copied the images for the next Update Video. Thank you for sharing the eye candy, looks like you've got some killer builds in progress.
  2. Daffydd, wow, first of all, what a great name you have. Second, yes, I have experience with AK products. My recommendation is to get the black and brown washes (that's all you need for most car needs) and I would also urge you to get their rust/weathering kit that just came out. There are other products that I recommend if you are planning to do some intense weathering, but if you are not, then you don't need them.
  3. Fun indeed, that engine looks great. Go, Tom, go!
  4. Looking real good, I can't wait to see the body painted.
  5. I don't know, I am still looking for that windshield holder tool someone invented and posted. Looking forward to more progress.
  6. Wow, some very cool builds I hope to see finished in the near future.
  7. Oooh, I like this thread. Hope to see more eye candy.
  8. Wow, that's looking real good. Keep it going, please. More.
  9. I keep returning to this one. Really lots of eye candy here, that's for sure. I also love LOVE your photographs.
  10. Yes, please do shoot some pictures of it outside. It's a beautiful model. Love the hood vents. How did you do those?
  11. I would not surprise me if this thing didn't set a price record at like 1.8 or 2 mil. And yes, Grape is one of my favorite colors. It's what makes Frau Blucher and EYEGORE think I'm a wino! LOL.
  12. Your styrene journey has just started. Next up are more kits, more tools, more of everything. The addiction only gets worse from here, and yes, it's good to have a life partner that understands and is supportive. My wife was very happy when I gave up raising and showing canaries (by best year I had over 400 birds) and picked up building models. Best wishes and good luck.
  13. Dave, love the color and the shine. I have fallen in love with enamel paint all over again. We have only one person to blame for that, and he knows who he is! LOL. I really want to see this one done and see more pictures of it over in the UNDER GLASS section. Keep it going.
  14. It's looking real good, Dave. Love the color and the stance, not to also say the wheels and engine are adding to the whole look. Keep it going.
  15. I like them, they are looking good. Looking forward to more.
  16. It's coming along nice, buddy. Get some rest and then keep it going . . .
  17. Beautiful, but I think I will put my money into the new Revell tooling. Thanks, Harry.
  18. LOL, and then back again. That's where some serious fun is. Rust AND shine.
  19. Talk about great interior details. The interior is empty, devoid of all the usual stuff, but you made it look truly eye-catching and interesting. Excellent.
  20. Lots of wonderful details. Great model, I love it. You did a great job. Congrats.
  21. All of you who are going, take some pictures, will ya?
  22. Does anyone know how I can reach him? He builds some great hot rods and models. If you are in contact with him, could you please PM me his contact information, preferably an email address. Best, Doctor Cranky.
  23. Beautiful work, folks. Very nice.
  24. Wonderful write up, Art. Thank you.
