  1. Here's a video update of the progress. I think this one might actually fail completely, but we'll see . . . so it goes with some crazy paint jobs . . . right now I am still working with the candy and some of the graphics . . . Watch video
  2. Beautiful. Love it. So clean and smooth.
  3. I love the look. Nice work on all the little details. Sometimes it's a boatload of fun to just build a slammer or two to get the juices flowing.
  4. Looking good low like that.
  5. I have two that I am cleaning up and getting ready for primer. I want to go rusty on one, and on the shiny one I still have not thought of what colors. I'd like to do one as a mild street machine, but we'll see. The best approach is always to look through GOOGLE IMAGE for some inspiration. Thanks for starting this, Rob.
  6. Looking nice and mirror-deep shiny. Sweet.
  7. Thanks, Dave and Danny. There should be more progress tomorrow. Right now I gotta go watch Sons of Anarchy. LOL.
  8. LMAO! It's your fault. It's ALL YOUR FAULT! Sometimes I think I will forget how to do the rust, but you know that stuff runs thick in my system. It's the gunk of all the years doing it. I have to confess, though, I am thoroughly enjoying the syrup. HA!
  9. Thanks, everyone. We are making good progress. Here's another quick video UPDATE. Watch the video update
  10. LOL, Jim, of course it is going to be shiny. My blood right now is running shiny, but you know there will come a day soon when I will return to rusty. LOL.
  11. That's a vehicle crying to be done in scale. Wow.
  12. Dave Parker tells me they are from the 66 Chevelle Wagon.
  13. Well, sooner or later they will sell them. After all, oil is not going to last forever and it is getting more and more difficult to find. I like the Caddy better, but would never buy it.
  14. Thanks, Corey and John . . . the painting has begun in earnest, so we'll see. Stay tuned in for more progress.
  15. Here's the body based in Orion fine metallic silver from HOK and I went ahead and applied the basic tape graphics . . . LOL, there's a fine line between TESLA and TRON! Pun intended. HA!
  16. All the other parts have been primered and painted and are awaiting assembly. The interior is not going to be done until I get the body painted so that I can match up the colors . . . I love these wheels: I am going to give this one an aggressive back to front stance . . .
  17. All right, my friends, here come some pictures . . . Working on the chassis and the engine . . . this kit is a real pleasure so far. The body is in white Plastikote primer and it has been smoothed with 4000 grit cloth.
  18. Its' going to have a coil indeed right over the engine. Lots of electric bolts branching out, etc . . . Nice build, Dave. You tell me the wheels are from the 66 Chevelle wagon?
  19. Thanks, John. Just getting everything ready. Here's a little update on what I have so far. Today is paint day, and it will begin shortly . . . WATCH THE VIDEO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfE8f1EowAA:
  20. Very exciting. Looking forward to another great show.
  21. Wonderful eye candy, thank you and I hope it keeps going.
  22. Loving it, great progress, and I really like that color.
  23. I've got to clean up the parts on the two that I am hoping to build. One shiny and one rusty. Love that paint color and yes I can see the bling in it.
  24. Great to see some new work started. Hope you guys keep the eye candy coming.
  25. Oh yeah, it's looking good. Looking forward to more.
