  1. I think he knows part of the whole trick is to build these things for the photographs. I think he's addicted to photography as well.
  2. Because the rear end has purple in it and I wanted to convey a sense of all that electricity cooling off. LOL.
  3. Who knows, Al. Sometimes you'd be surprised. I just love the fact that there are so many builders out there that are addicted to recreating the world in small scale.
  4. Happy TGIF in October, everyone. Hope you will enjoy the work this artist puts into creating miniature worlds. Enjoy the inspiration . . . http://www.petapixel.com/2012/10/19/a-behind-the-scenes-glimpse-of-matthew-albaneses-magical-miniature-worlds/
  5. No, this is not about our fearless leader who also goes by the name of Big Kahuna. This is about Doctor Cranky's impending new build, a "BIG TUB" Ford T, one of these gentle and beautiful giants. I am very excited, and it's going to be called THE BIG KAHUNA because it's going to be a TIKI Rat Rod, perhaps with a mild shine to it. LOL. Please stay tuned in for progress . . . This is my first BIG SCALE build. Very excited.
  6. Oh, that's looking beautiful. Great progress.
  7. This paint job has grown on me a little and it looks real nice in the sun light, but we'll see how it turns out once it is assembled. In the meantime, I really like a project when it's at this stage before completion:
  8. So far this kit has not fought me at all. I was expecting the front suspension to do so since I modified the wheels spindles to drop the model a few scale inches, but it hasn't . . . not yet . . . Here are all the components, including the body which still needs to be polished and shined up.
  9. Making progress on all the other parts. The paint is finished and cleared and now I am just waiting for final assembly. Lots of details and touches left to do, etc . . .
  10. Thanks, Roger, and Michael, that's a beautiful model. Thanks for sharing, and for the comments, everyone. Stay tuned in for more progress.
  11. Looking forward to seeing more. I like what you've done so far.
  12. I think it's art in metal, pure and simple. If only there would be a way of getting engines like this into the after market, how sweet would that be. Your skills are of the highest level.
  13. Outstanding Gizmology on that engine, Ira. Another great and cool build.
  14. Wonderful work so far, and I am looking forward to seeing more of it. Love that color.
  15. Great build and wonderful photos too.
  16. Oh wow, John, that's looking great. I'm thinking of building up one of these. I have one a friend sent me and I think I might join in on building one. I am going to go box stock though. This is another fun build and thread and I will be watching.
  17. That's looking pretty cool, man. This ride just keeps getting better and better.
  18. Nice hinges. Excellent. What are they called, this type of hinges?
  19. Nice work, Tom.
  20. Dirty paint jobs done dirt cheap! LOL! Making progress, so it goes . . . stay tuned in.
  21. David G. could you please repost your pictures. They are flipped and a bit blurry. I would like to use them in the next video. Also, I could not copy them for some reason. Please try again. Everyone is doing a fantastic job. I have never seen this many different models.
  22. LOL, thanks Bryan and Jerome. I am making progress. This is one of the toughest (but also fun) paint jobs I have had to do since those H.R. Geiger Mercs. Stay tuned in for more progress.
