I picked up two of the new ‘78 Dodge D100’s and am building one of them box stock. I have 11 of the original ones that I plan on building some day. Anyways this one is being painted with Scale Finishes eggshell white and Citrus green and a light green interior. I have the chassis completed and am working on the interior right now. -

Which episode did you see it on? I've been watching for it as Mark said it might make it on the show. Thanks for all of the comments on this build. It was a lot of fun to do, while all but trying to put those decals on it just two days before we left to go to Portland to see my son. -
Yep and I decided to paint mine body color because that’s how I “wanted it” but thanks for your input. ?

Thanks for all of the great comments! It’s not 100% perfect and does have some flaws in it but I’m very happy with the way it turned out.

I’ll take a photo of that when I get home. And thanks

Would you believe I built it a little over a month and most of it besides the painting was done in a weeks time. On Saturday the 20th it was like this (see photo) at 5:45am and I got it finished in time for a club meeting at 7pm that night.

This was my first time building this kit and I really enjoyed it. I painted it with Scalefinishes willow green & Wimbleton white. I picked those colors long before I even had the kit. I saw one painted that color on an episode of chasing classic cars. The white wall tires were airbrushed. It’s going to be pulling a matching boat & trailer so I modified a trailer hitch from another kit. I’m looking forward to building another one.

Thanks!! That wrap is custom decals that Bard Norgaard made for me. -
I built this van to give to Mark Worman of Graveyard Carz and I came up with the idea for after seeing they had a Chevy van with a Graveyard Carz wrap on it and thought since they specialize in Mopars they should have a Dodge van instead. So this is what I came up with. My son lives in Portland, OR and I was there last week on vacation and went to their shop in Springfield, OR and gave it to Mark and he really got a kick out of it.

That is also Scale Finishes paint. Thanks!

Thanks everyone!! It was fun to build and this one has the 383 in it. I’m going to build another one with a Slant 6 soon.

I built this kit for our club theme which was for Lindberg kits and it was a last minute decision to build it and I had less then 3 weeks to get it finished. Paint is Scale Finishes Light Turquoise for the body and the interior is Indian Turquoise. The wheels are Fireball Modelworks Mopar Steelers with dog dish hubcaps.

I remembering reading something a few years ago, about some one that makes tires for 1/25th scale motorcycles? Can anyone help me with finding them? Thanks, Marty
-
Yep it was pretty cool and the 2nd time I have met him. I'll be going there again in July to visit their shop and I'm going to try and met the rest of the Graveyard team.
-
The tires are resin BF Goodrich from Fireball Modelworks, I sanded them and added the Mastercraft Avenger G/T decals to match the tires on Mike Hill's Superbird.

Thanks for all of your comments. I even took it to Graveyard Carz and Mark Wormsn liked it. He even signed the underside of the hood and box top.

It's the Revell kit and I used the interior out of the '70 Roadrunner kit. Thanks
