I haven't really gotten a lot done on this one yet. I didn't like the look of some of the chrome parts that came in the kit, so I stripped the chrome painted and them gloss black and then sprayed them with Alclad II Chrome and I think they look way better!!

That is a very nice build!! I'd like to find that kit some day too!!!

I got one wheel done and I think it turned out pretty good. Now I just have to do three more of them!!!

I got this in the mail yesterday!!! I've been looking for this kit for a while now and just couldn't pass it up when I got the chance to buy it.

I think I have come up with a way to paint the wheels? I had hoped to give it a try tonight but didn't have time because my dumb sister-law broke down again!!! (that is one person that shouldn't own a car) Anyways this is what i made and have to make three more of them. If it works it should look pretty nice and it will have a chrome center cap..

I will do that. I did some test painting with it and had a run in the blue, but that was more of me being in a hurry to see what it looked like then the Alclad it's self.

I was going to build this one like the box art and just polish the body and leave it unpainted. But then I thought it would look better if I did and two or three tone paint job on it, I was having some trouble trying to come up with what colors to use. So I went to a hobby shop and started looking at the paints hopping to find something that stood out. When I saw that Alclad had some Candy colors and so this is what I came up with. I have the body almost ready to start painting and stripped the chrome from some parts that I will be using alclad on and my plan for the wheels is to do the outer wheel in chrome and the center of the wheel in the Candy Electric Blue, that is if I can come up with a way of masking them off? So what do you all think?

I got some more kits in the mail yesterday!!!! Got these kits for Christmas!!! And got this one for a Christmas gift exchange on another board.

I built, well I think I more like tried to build the '57 Chevy kit as a kid and it made me want to stay away from Revell kits!!! Nice score and I'd love to some day try and build that kit again!!

I got this one from Ron Andrews and at the time he said he was not making them anymore? My plan was to built it as a stock Buick Limo, but there was some side trim detail missing and I didn't think I could repair it to make it look right so I went with the custom way and removed the rest of the side trim.

I got a resin '62 Buick Limo a while back and built it for our clubs "Big BOPpres theme" I still need to do some BMF to it. But it's done for now until I can find the time to work on it again. This is what I started with. I used some of the custom parts from doner kit and here is how the Limo turned out. I really didn't like the look of the custom front ends grill, so I cut the stock grill & headlights off of the stock bumber and used it. Much better look I think?

I was just told about this topic and thought I'd let you guys know about my dealings with this person. It took me well over 6 weeks to buy some kits from him and between me and the person I was buying some of the kits for because he was getting the run around about shipping the kits. We spent around $700 on kits whit him and then went off on me on facebook about he thought I was making money off of the kits I brought from him? I got kits from him for $20 to $35 and then when he saw me post some photos of the kits I got for someone else he sends me an email saying if I wanted more they would now be between $35 to $55!! Anyways if any of you want to know more about my dealongs with him feel free to email me. Here is what I was able to buy from him, but after all I went through I wouldn't buy from him again.
