  7. I started to build this one for our clubs Nifty 50's theme and didn't get it done it time, and it didn't help that I started on it 4 days before the meeting Anyways now I have more time to work on it...
  8. Thanks Virgil!! I have around 8 models from around that time frame that look pretty good after all that time and then maybe another 6 that have seen better days....... And some of those are ones I built when I was much younger.
  9. Thanks and yes that is the paint I used on this one and it has really held up over the years, of course it's been packed away for some 20 plus years so that helped.
  10. I took a photo of each model in the same spot and then used a mouseover effect which brings the other photo up when you move your mouse over it. Thanks!! Marty
  11. Happy Birthday!!!! Hope you have a great day!!!
  12. Thanks guys!! It was fun to bring this one back from the dead. I used One Shot sign painters paint for the white walls. Check out what I did with a photo of this '57 Chevy and my Kustom '57 Chevy.. Two 57's Chevy's
  13. Here is another one I did back around 1980 or early '81. I had forgot that I still had it until I open my old '49 Ford Cruisin USA kit to put a chrome tree in it that I picked up and found that I still had it. This is how it looked. So like with the '57 Chevy I thought the painted looked fine and just cleaned it up and replaced the missing parts and replaced the trim rings and hub caps and made a new rear bumper for it. Can't beat old testers paint this stuff held up pretty good after all these years!!!
  14. I built this one the 1st time about 30 plus years ago!!! I got it out a few weeks ago and took it a part and re-did the interior, chassis & motor. I left the paint alone as it wasn't that bad and just cleaned it up some and did some BMF on it. I think it looks pretty good for being as old as it is!!
  15. Happy Birthday Ed!!!!
