  1. Great idea! Good luck on the project!!
  2. Box stock interior with a few additions. GPS unit and Lap Top computer.
  3. This is a box stock build from a Big Lots $5 kit. It's a fun and easy kit that turned out very nice. Thanks for looking!
  4. I got paint on the body and I used a silver Sharpie pen for trim work. Waiting for more good weather for some clearcoat. Thanks for looking!
  5. Here's my progress, on "Mary's Mustang" since my last post. I've got the engine & chassis built. Scratch built exhaust system.
  6. My girlfriend has always wanted a 65 Mustang. I found this Monogram kit on Evil-Pay for $2. I couldn't pass it up! At this point it won't be ready for Christmas...but maybe New Years! I've got it primered and trying to decide if I want to flock the interior. It will be "Go Mango" orange with black rally stripes. Keeping my fingers crossed for some good painting weather here in Colorado!
  7. I used the Chevelle engine nothing fancy (very simple). The fit was good! The chassis requires a little carving on it to make a good fit with the body. The interior was stock (from the Chevelle kit). Except for a few additions. I would suggest modification to the dashboard (from the Edsel kit) to get the best fit. Possibly just scratch building something. Thanks for your positive comments guys!
  8. That's a great looking kit. I always liked the 70 Monte. Did you dulcote the interior or is it some sort of satin finish? Also great looking engine! Looking good ..keep posting!
  9. I've had good luck using decal film from Bare-Metal.com. It comes in clear 8-1/2 x 11 inch sheets that can be fed into your printer. I scan the decal or artwork as a jpeg file, then insert that into a word document page. Once it's inserted into the page it can be manipulated for brightness, contrast and size. When you have the desired size and color it can be printed out on the decal film. The decal film is available for inkjet and lazer printers. Besides clear film it also comes in white ( just in case the decal has a white background). Once it's printed on the film, give it a light coat of clear gloss coat or clear flat coat to keep the colors from running. Hope that helps.
  10. Excellent job on that resurrection! I like it alot!
  11. I've always had a passion for the old short trackers. I was first introduced to them at the State County Fair in Iowa. Here's an AMT 35 Chevy kit I finished recently. Thanks for looking!
  12. I combined Tim Richmond's #25 Folger's decal set with a 2001 Dale SR. #3 Monte Carlo. Here's what I came up with. Thanks for looking!
  13. SWEEEET PAINT 408! Looks like it's 10 miles deep!!
  14. This is my first post and my first attempt at a major kit bashing. I combined a 58 Edsel Pacer with a 67 Chevelle Pro Street chassis.
