  3. so bodywork, and rusting aside until i get more reference pics, i decided to start on the engine... its a nicely detailed piece thats for sure... heres the parts i assembled the basic stuff, block, heads, intake....... the tranny is just stuck on there with"handitak" i added the intake manifold, and drilled the back of the block out for one of morgan automotive details wonderful pre wired distributors....... thats it for the moment, more to come. gonna start drilling holes for the heater hoses, vacuum lines, ect,ect..... lemme know what ya think guys! cheers bryan

Will, i love how youve got the exhaust coming out of the engine side covers! very nice touch, and that quick change rear diff looks great as well. one question: where did you get the duvall windshield? i love those, they look all mean and laid back........like theyre goin fast just standing still! lemme know, thanks will! cheers bryan

  8. oh i have a question........whats the name of the company that makes the correct retro paint colors for GM, Ford, Dodge....ect ect........ i cant remember the name, but i wanna order the correct gold for this build...... thanks in advance guys bryan

  10. oh man! lownslow, that caddy looks sweet man! ive got one in the works.....kinda new/retro......it will be white, with tan interior, and a light tan vinyl top. im also gonna use a vintage caddy engine, fat white walls, and 59 caddy hubcaps! keep that one goin, its sweet! bryan

  14. thanks guys! i honestly dont remember where i got that mesh, al i know it is stainless steel, and it is very easy to cut and form......... stay tuned, hittin the bench soon bryan
  15. ok i got the cowl panel opened up, i think it came out pretty good. it was alot of sanding adn filing tho! the one on the left is they way it came from the factory, and the right i cut open........ here they are again side by side, with the mesh installed..... and a close up of the mesh...... thats about it for me tonight fellas, more to come tomorrow.......thanks for lookin. lemme know what you think cheers bryan
  16. ok fellas, progress is moving slow, but its moving........ i drilled out the lock in the trunk lid and thinned out the plastic behind it. a marked the drivers side quarter panel for the few small dents that are in it.......i only have driver side ref pics at the moment, but il have plenty more tomorrow! my next step is to remover the molded in grille in the cowl panel (under the wipers), and add some super fine mesh in there....stay tuned! thanks for lookin bryan

  20. so ive drilled out the trunk lock cylinder, in the movie it is missing.......i believe i might stick a screw driver in there, but i want to stay as close to the movie car as possible. the drivers exterior door handle, and interior rear view mirror will also be missing, Roy accidentally tears them off with his "hook hand".........not one of his proudest moments. this body is so very smooth and nice, it did have two sink marks in the trunk where the spoiler goes, but they blocked right out! more to come guys! stay tuned bryan

  24. well, i didn`t accomplish much, i did get the tiny bit of flash cleaned off the body..........and i do mean tiny bit, this kit is pretty much flash free. tomorrow is another day fellas, have a good nite! cheers bryan
