  12. thanks brian! i plan on detailing the snot out of it too! im using the 454 BBC from the boyds hauler kit, im plannin on doin tranny lines, fuel lines, brake lines, misc wiring. im gonna go all out on this one! its been a while since i have really detailed one like that, so i think its overdue... thanks again! bryan

  15. my girl got me this kit the other day, and im really fired up about it. ive never had one of these and it looks like a really great kit. i spent some time gathering reference pics, and now im gathering parts from a few other kits...... first up, i snagged the 454 from the "boyds hauler" kit.....dechromed everything. thinkin about how tough it will be to use the suspension from the same kit, im sure the rear will work, but the front is a different story, i dont want to hack the front crossmember out the kit frame, so i might need another idea.... more to come, thanks for lookin guys! bryan
  16. awesome project!! love the double blower. cheers bryan
  17. oh i forgot.........my girlfriend bought me this the other day......this is now my next project after "bad bannana" ill start a new thread for it, when i get rollin... this kit is super nice, the parts are really crisp, hardly any flash at all. ive never had this one before. im gonna do it in a satin color, slam it on the ground, with steelies and wide whitewalls, and add a new powerplant. im thinkin a 454 with fuel injection. i will probably open the rear door as well... very cool kit! and great box artwork thanks to Mr. watson! stay tuned bryan
  18. i managed to clean my bench the other day, it was such a wreck! before: after: the white cabinet on top is actually a shoe storage rack, i used bin boxes to organize my stuff. its so nice it be organized again! it took me all day to do this, i removd everything bfrom the bench, and since it has been nearly 2 years since i have been here, i had to throw alot of stuff away! bummer..... ill have to replace it the stuff that was dried up, but at least i have an organized space again! ok on to building! cheers bryan
  19. thanks cranky! i havent felt well for the last couple days, but im doin better now. its time to hit the bench hard! stay tuned for some progress! cheers bryan
