  1. Are you talking modern as in the 5.7/6.1/6.4L in the challenger/charger packages ?
  2. It interesting that she had the van before you were married. I don't see a lot of them as daily drivers with out biger families.
  3. Sometimg else you might like to try for the same effect is a cuitical stick. Its just like a big tooth pick, but pointed on one end and cut at a 45 or 30 deg angle on the other for a nice flat surface. I stole mine from the little miss, but I'm sure you can buy them also . It does make a nice tool though
  4. Really ? I seen one just like it about six years ago... Lol, just giving you a hard time.
  5. 3.6L pentastar. I can't wait till that engine comes out with twin turbos.
  6. I'm sorry. Your right. I was thinking Caravan
  7. What are you using to clean with? I use a 50/50 mix of distiled water and isopropyl alcohol. Works great and I've neve had a problem.
  8. They have done really great color options too, even some glow/UV type stuff. I'm still trying to use up my autoair paints before I invest to much into the new line.
  9. If it was new body style it is factory
  10. I don't have any pics on this computer... But his name is Mason, and he will be 8 in may.
  11. Great looking car. I have a question on your foil use. Do you always cut out the whole window shape and trim it that way? Don't you burn up a lot of foil? Does it come out better in one piece?
  12. That's a great patience tool for that young of an age group. Way to go Bill !!!
  13. Do you also paint or just use the mechanical build aspect of it?
  14. This may sound a little stupid to some, but I feel that all the time I spent as a little kid staring at the exploded view instructions really helped me to understand how real vehicles worked and went together. I really noticed it when I went to school for it and was able to process the repair manuals pretty easily. Kinda funny how that works, I never gave it much thought until now.
  15. I love it when you see 71 and 73 T/As and AARs for sale at collector prices.... Makes me want to run out and snatch them up !!! Before they are all gone.
  16. This Is a dumb question, but are there any over seas kits that don't come with English instructions? I've never messed with anything other then the common American brands. Does it make them more of a challenge, or do the illustrations get it to the point?
  17. I left out Mitsubishi becsuse you didn't mention them, and for being uncompetitive there sure are a lot of calibers on the road. Don't you own one? Ive never once seen the need to change a ball joint on an lx body car. The only thing I've seen on the back end so far is fiat pushing magnety marrelli parts down our throat. They do have a very strong force for product training, but that's on a corp level. I seen a lot of these changes planned and put into motion way before fiat signed papers, stuff like what's happening right now doesn't happen over night. And the new pentastar v6 that's in all of fiats new chryslers, still Daimler technology.
  18. Can't wait to see, I've got to get one for myself. Would love to do a pick-up/ car and trailer combo out of that truck.
  19. Sure sounded directed to me. Not that he didn't make some very good points. Maybe it's just me Bob. Still not sure what being mature has to do with toy cars though..... Maybe when I'm older
  20. I didn't say any of it was hard to fallow or understand, it was very "on point", that most of those that answered yes or no, needed to go back and reread your post to better understand what we need the instructions for. I don't know that anyone really doesn't understand why they are in the kit. I guess it just came across that anyone who has replied to the OPs question needed to go back and reassess their own motives. Part of me wonders how much of that was due to who the OP was him self.
  21. I think a lot more people then just Andy should find this a little condo sending and insulting. Not everyone buillds model cars to bbw exact, or to the letter. I may be on my own here, but I like to build models to suite me taste and style, and I can usually do that with out looking where the rear axle goes or if I even want all those parts in my build. I didn't know that we had to be precise and logical in all of our thinking and posting. It was a question of of people used them or not, not why or what ramifications would come if they didn't, lighten up a bit.
