  1. And you still didn't answer him
  2. Hang on to it for what? Would it stop you if it was that real thing?
  3. Great color on that body.
  4. This is a story from here in Moses lake wa. Its a little back dated itself but I'm posting it because its almost to its new home in Alaska. Its a pretty good story anyway, he was one heck of a guy ! http://www.columbiabasinherald.com/news/article_af5bfd36-2298-11e1-b0b7-0019bb2963f4.html
  5. I allowed myself to get sucked into #9 ONCE. It was a set of HD tins, the guy wanted true fire, but didn't want to pay for the local artist who had gotten pretty good at it. So he suckered me into trying it, even though I told him I wasn't into it. But I did it anyway. Long story short I wasted a lot of time and paint on that job. All because I let the customer dictate what I was going to do. I've since gotten pretty good with it, and now he doesn't like my price
  6. I've seen that before on Craig frasers forum, good stuff to remember. I can fit into everyone of those Collums at one time or another
  7. I'm in with the DOH charger anyway, just have to settle with two chargers.
  8. Looks great !!! I love it. Something about tera tires that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside
  9. And it will still only make like 5.0L lol, but spin to 20k rpm lol
  10. I think they will go as far as the fossil fuel they run on will go. Not to start another debate on alternate energy, but I think that's when they will change. Can you imagine the possibility of a nuke/electric super car.
  11. That's really cool, thanks for sharing that. I would have a hard time not tearing into that one !
  12. Awesome build, i really like the moon tank mount. What inspired you to do it that way?
  13. I was thinking the same thing when this first started, was starting to think I didn't get the memo about the hellacious zombi military that was formed after the fall out. but it's been really neat to see all the inspiration on every page.
  14. I don't hide stuff, but I don't show it off either. She knows I have a very addictive personality, and model are a very small part of it. Doesn't hurt that there isn't a lhs in my area to buy out anyway. When we go out of town, she pretty much expects to stop at the hobby lobby or hobby town. As far as everyone getting away with more because they made a cover or two....support should come from succes as well as just a good try. That's all I can promise, and expect nothing more.
  15. Not fe, but cleavland / modified yes. I didn't notice the oil pan or filter and timing cover myself, just the heads. Sure looks to be a "dare I say" hybrid
  16. The only ones I have that probly won't get touched are the testers jimmy flintstone milk wagon and frankenstude my dad gave me when I was younger . They just look cool up on the shelf behind my completed cars.
  17. Just remember, it's not the smell that will hurt you.
  18. I thought those were called moderators ??
  19. Great info, thanks guys. I didn't even come across the 68 when I did a search. Hmm. ...
  20. I've looked online , but haven't found any 69 road runners. Anyone know if it was ever kited? Still available? I would like to build one for a coworker who's husband has the real thing but probly won't get to restore it.
  21. What are you using it for? If your using two part stuff. There is no filter for those. Not 100% anyway. Not really cost effective to buy an air suit for modeling though.
  22. Got a start on the hemi for the "Nuke Boys" My daughter gave me a scrap piece of yellow beading cord that should grease up real nice for plug wires. I went to the ACE and picked up some brass fitting parts to buid some ridiculous carb stacks out of. Should look pretty agressive.
  23. Thats just gota be wierd behind the wheel, I would have to use some of that juice to pump some open header vibes through a sub woofer or something. I've heard that electric trials bike racing is getting hot, because they can do it almost anywhere due to the slow speed and there is no noise pollution. problems. Times are a changin friends !
