  1. I wish we had the law you have there in the states.

It's bloody rubish here in the UK!.......why?

Somone parks on a double yellow line,it's a fine.

Somone hits somone it's four weeks in prison and a fine, murder somone it's 15-20 and they probably do 10 then get let out to a job, house, new life.

Now that's what I call a rubish system.

People go found doing what they want because they know it's a slap on the wrist or time in prison all cushy and easy.

It makes me sick cause the law is pathetic here!

Anyway I've had my 2cents worth,so back to the thread!;-)

  2. My wife's daily driver for the last two years is a white 89 Crown Victoria four door sedan - they are a nice car and hopefully, someone will cast that body style - even if it is just a plain police version without the vinyl top trim like our car has. They are still commonly seen and ours has been a totally reliable, trouble free vehicle despite being a high mileage car, except for replacing an alternator earlier this year. I'd love to have a couple to build - one as an RCMP police cruiser and the other as a replica of our car. :) That's a hint by the way, to any resin casters who bother to read this post.. :D

Im in the cue for a few of these if they become cast or kit form.

  3. STewart.I'm speechless mate this is going to be one sweet build.then engine is a work of art.instead of using super glue try using clear resin what you find in automotive shops.it come in a two part syringe and is super strong and clear, ill try and get a pic up for you to show you what im on about.

  4. My copy of part Fast and Furious is in my car's dvd player...and the car has a dead battery so, I can't check it. :( I believe you are referring to Letty's car and I am pretty sure this is a pic for Fast and Furious (4th Installment) http://images.search...umb=bhVCM9x4L6G . I also found a die cast version of this car. http://images.search...umb=bhVCM9x4L6G . On topic, this is one finely detailed model of a car that is beautiful in real life.

'of a car that is be beautiful in real life' i totally agree with you on this one.the car is something of beauty and if my time comes to own a car like the 'hammer' then its meant to be.

i though 'Elinor' was nice but the Plymouth is just one awesome looking car...............

  5. I got the gauges from model car Garage. It is a PE detail set. I will not have a lot of updates now as school just started. However, I was able to throw together a quick mockup of the car. I completed the intake and now just have to finish up the linkages to the carburetors.

I was trying to figure out how to make an air box to run the outlet lines from the prochargers into. I finally found something that looks good. It is an oblong resin air filter. I will probably end up making a smooth-sided one from styrene and paint it aluminum.

  7. Thanks, Cliff, that picture helps. I just found one too, so maybe I'll build that part with those pics. Thanks. And thank you, Rich! White stripe fits better than black one with red, I think. I know, that the white primer should make the color bit lighter, now it's bit dark as you said, but I like this shade of red better. This is just correct color for '70 Super Bee, I think. Thanks both, there might be update coming in next couple of days.

yes the white stripe goes loads better than the black one of done. ;)
