  1. Cut out a piece of sheet plastic to protect the deck from overspray.
  2. Received this completed hull and decided to finish it.Added the prop and rudder.
  3. I was posting pics of my Harriet Lane on the Jalopy Journal/HAMB and a guy from Oregon sebt me these for free!
  4. According to the instructions,they are used to attach the sails to the spars with iron rods.The box photo clearly shows them as depicted.

  6. Nice !I saw that kit at Ollies for 20 bucks,might have to pick one up after the Harriet Lane side wheeler is done!
  7. Well I had to drill a new hole for the foremastlMight glue the masts at the correct angle,
  8. Not too bad thus far. Got the ladders and handrails on the wheel boxes.

  10. I use Westley's Bleech White to strip paint.Does a good job and a. old Toothbrush is good for those stubborn areas.Followed by soaking the parts in Dawn for an hour or two ,then wash the parts thoroughly in cold water .
  11. Yes I just built a Hubley 32 Chevy Coupe as well as the 1909 Model T Runabout.I used two part epoxy and Bondo spot putty 'to deal with the body seam.It did require a lot of grinding and filing to clean the metal parts up.
