  1. Added a stryrene disc in the rear.i had to paint the red cross because i had no more red cross decals.
  2. Yes and various detail parts and antennae.
  3. Got the engines together and rusted the nose engine's exhaust pipes with Testors Burnt Metal.Dirtied up the cowlings a bit because those radial engines liked to spray a bit of oil!
  4. The engines do look pretty good,I will post pics when I assemble them.
  5. Mounted up the landing gear and spats.The attachment points are sturdy.
  6. No in this case I felt if would not help due to the corrugated surface. THE Solvaset is pretty strong so you can see the ribbed surface when you view the decals.
  7. Applied the decals to the underside.The solvaset really snuggles them down.
  8. Yes it was really bad during the Battle of Stalingrad.Those lumbering Junkers were esy prey to a yak or mig .
  9. Yes I wonder how much the crosses would help.I am sure the Russians would not hesitate to shoot it down.

My faves were the original Vertibird with the space capsule as well as the Kenner SSP Smash Up Derby with the '57 Chevy Nomad and '57 Ford .I also had a Chien tin Roller coaster and the Marx Electroshot Shooting gallery.I have most of my Aurora and Tyco ho slot cars and my Ohio Art Targetmaster shooting range.
  15. Thanks!This plane sure has a lot of surface area!I had to add paint to the color cup much more often than usual.Next up I will paint the underside light blue and the upper surface Desert Yellow.Then I will airbrush green blotches for the desert cammo scheme.
