  6. thanks guys, and yes i'll be sticking around and hoping my skills improve. but the bad thing is that the only hobby shop remotely close to me is an hour and a half away. stupid wal-mart dosnt carry models any more
  7. thanks, i dont have any BMF yet.
  8. cheap snap together kit, hope to get some good kits soon. i painted the weather striping, handles, trim, vents and front bumper details. like i said its my first so be gentle guys..lol
  9. looking great. but keep it jdm. put a b18 or k series in it. great start man
  10. just got pulled out of the paint booth. first vinyls then the new glass......lol. i did one of my drift cars like that once(1:1). had to wait for the glass to be delivered to me and put in so i went ahead with the vinyls.. sweet r34 though
  11. well i have a die-cast nissan 240sx that i want to make widebody. and the stuff says it bonds to metal. and that will be what i test it on and also a little custom work on the interior to see if it works on plastic as well
  12. have any of you guys used the green and white putty that billy maze does the commercial for to do bodywork? need to know if i can use it for my models because i can get it at work really cheap.
  13. the car that stunt man mike hit was like a 97 civic.
  14. dude, thats a sweet idea. i was thinking of doing the nova. are you going to use some clear styrene for the Plexiglas that was in side(cant remember if it was in the charger too). that would be sweet. i cant wait to see it finished. good luck with the build man.
  15. wow. that body needs some tlc. but great idea on the hinges. i might do that on my next build.
  16. TOYOTA COROLLA AE86...TRUENO HATCH OR COUPE...LEVIN HATCH OR COUPE...theres just something about those little toyota's.
  17. want to part ways with the yellow pickup? i need one for a rat rod project
  18. i got a big square peace of styrofoam from work today(the kind they use for shipping tv's, washer and dryers). well anyways i got it home and started carving it in the shape of my mountain drift road. what i want to know is. is it dangerous to breath in the really little peaces. i didnt breath in any thing bigger than a pea size for sure. just want to know about the really small one's. should i be worried?
  19. sweet build man, i see these type of cars ride around my town ever weekend.
  20. this thing can be saved! take off the ugly body kit and giant wing. if you have the stock bumpers pit them on to give it a jdm look. and get you a honda s2000 model kit and make this little slow civic a rear wheel drive beast. also i would put smaller wheels on it too.mybe some 14's or 15's............... but that is my opinion. but great work. i really love the color.
  21. WOW, love the green. great work . i hope that some day i will have the skill to do a build like this.
  22. my plan is as follows. load up all my family, friends and guns(my two m4s, ak47,three shot guns,9mm glock, and my dragonov sniper rifle). then grab all food that wouldnt spoil. put every thing in my car and make my way to my uncle's house. put my beloved ae86 in his garage and hoped it would be okay when the attack was over. anyways grab all of his guns and food and we would all load up in his wwll gmc deuce and a half and make our way to the local wal-mart or other retail store to load up on more food and flash lights two way radios, bathroom essentials, and lots and lots of bottled water. then after we left there we would go down town to a old elks club building where elderly people play bingo and go to the back of the building and go into the fallout shelter (circa 1960 something) the whole building would be fortified. all windows would be bricked up. most of them are already. the building has access to the bunker inside the building. so we could use the whole building if we bricked up all of the first story windows and doors. then we could just sit it out and wait for rescue. and have a lil target practice while we wait. it may not be fool proof but hey i could make it work.....lol
