yeah i have always painted mine, but this body looked pretty good the way it was. i guess i will paint it white and see how the decals look when i put them on it.

there is a real GT3 a couple of towns over. it's orange with black accents, it looks really sharp, and so does yours.

nice paint job man . i like that metallic blue. i sprayed it on a camaro one ttime and it came out beauitifuly. can't wait to see what you make of it.

This is my entry to the Drift car build off. Before i start buildn' this one i'd like to know if anybody else has. i think i could get away with just putting the decals on and then clear coat over it, but i don't know if it would look good. Here are some pics: Thanx

sweet !!! it's lookin' really good since i last saw it. as for the decal i'm thinkin' you need to go with somethin' really faded. you know like it's barely visable, but you can still tell, just about what it is.

allright i e-mailed revell and told them about how we are wanting new trucks to build and gave them some ideas, maybe if enough people send some emails then they might consider it more. . probably won't get a reply until tuesday, but thats ok.

i agree with you there are some nice kits out there(but did you notice not a one of those is a new style truck?), but there are some ones that have not been made yet that i feel should have been made. the new mustang was a great model to build, and you see those all over the place, but also very popular vehicles that are on the road are.......TRUCKS!!! it's 2009 and they have had almost 5 years to make the new style fords, chevys, and dodges. i think that if they would make em' then more people would be want to build them. Maybe somebody that has bought a new truck walks into Michaels or Hobby Lobby, and sees a model of his/her new truck and says hey, wouldn't it be cool if i had a little model of my truck, or the persons kid see's a model of their daddy/mommys new truck and want to build one and have a new truck just like there parents have. i think that if they were to make new trucks not only would they make us happy, they would sell more models too. BTW nice job on your trucks

yeah i agree lets email them a letter sayin' how we would like some kits to be produced and maybe put everyones name on it or put the thread web site address so they can see what , we the customer, would like to see.

yeah i know some people also who might be able to pull it off. i would just like for revel or amt to make a 1/24 diesel engine. i could put a diesel in so many of my projects. i've also heard of diesel dragsters that are taking the drag racing scene by storm. i wouldn't mind making one.
